The farm next to the campground makes a lot of sense. Some things - like the campground - don't necessarily have to be converted to MILS, they could be lower
Bricksie on the road going from the downtown to residential, why don't you try to just move the tables on the downtown side to match the residential side? Also think it be pretty cool if that path between the two is a bridge going over like a river.
I love all of the official roads man…it looks so formal and sophisticated. It’s funny how the plates were so controversial when they came out but now they are amazing
I know some I have spoken with have had issues that for a full MILS presentation, you are paying a lot more beyond just a road pack to get the same as an older road baseplate provided. I think part of that comes from that the road plates themselves are, in many ways, a step down from the simplicity of detailed baseplates. Only once you step them up into MILS builds do you see the full functionality they can offer. Personally I love the look of MILS, but as my modular sets are not displayed in a city set up, i can live without them..... but seriously thinking if I should for stability MILS my Ninjago City, even if they don't even need road plate functionality.
Got a suggestion, we’re downtown meets residential, why don’t you make a bridge on a hinge. Get rid of the two buildings to the left, then you can lift the bridge and walk through giving you access, instead of having to walk all the way around. Love the channel keep up the good work😄👍🇬🇧
You need to make extra three extra things in your city. One a dude stealth camping behind a sign for Steve Wallis, and a antique shop for curiosity inc, the Best Edmonton Mall Guy. Would be cool to incorporate other Edmonton youtubers in the city!
Another great update, can't believe how many MILS roads you've built - epic! Don't know about you but I keep delaying transferring Assembly Square to MILS... needs doing though so I just need to go for it! Just got the Corner Garage but not opened it yet so will be interested to see your MILS work on that, at least I'll be building it straight onto a MILS plate anyway to avoid a transfer. Keep up the good work! 👌👍
You guys are converting the city in lightspeed! It seemed like yesterday you guys started converting. But you guys still have a lot of work to do such as the rest of the 40 modular buildings that you mentioned. But its gonna look great!
Without even guessing it will be LEGENDARY all finished up and on MILS plates I wish I lived closer so I could help out but I live in AZ so I will just watch your updates and see the changes as you make them. 😀
With the zoo you could do a safari concept with gives all the animals more space to move around as opposed to individualized smaller confinement. Then do like a water/ snow theme on one side too
Wow that is just so much work. I think you need to concede on some sections and leave them as is. Along with new sets etc coming out and being built you'll be overworked haha! It's interesting to see the changes.
You should change the school over to in front of the theme part so that you can have that field in the back of it for part of the school like maybe a baseball field or track or something just a thought
Suggestion!!!!!!!!! Just a suggestion but I think you should move the corner garage to the end of the table where you are going to connect the tables. That way you can take out that random road plate leading to nowhere and have more space. Just a suggestion.
Love the progress on the city especially love the all the details in the around each of the downtown building .. gonna be doing the batmobile build tonight super excited .. keep building
Looks awesome. Loving the new road! You’ve inspired me to display my Lego. I’ve only got a small bedroom in the cellar where it can go - so I bought my first ever Lego display table today! I’m really excited to start building a full fairground!
Love it. All the power to ya bud! I just spent 2 weeks re-building destructed sets, sorting pieces by colour and building my step-son a lego city with an 8x4 ft melamine board, and I’m exhausted from it. Lol! I’m watching your plans and my brain hurts. 😂
Yes ..that's why I'm staying with the old road plate s 👍🤫. And you can still build up. Around the set s like. Thay all doing with mils plate s. You need dubble the .stud plate s and $ 8 to 900 dollers
I’m interested in how you do assembly square and the amusement park. I’m about to do my assembly square in MILS and am saving it for last since I haven’t seen one video on how to handle that.
This is totally epic! I wish I had the space to some even anything on that scale! Like some of the other comments I wish I lived closer too! If you do move to the house you should offer up some vip tickets to assist and help with the new layout!
Working in a very fast pace, but it's great to see! It must also be hard to find new pieces you need as you go along and need to order and wait for. Props none the less 👌
Does it make sense to put the Ninjago City sets on MILS? They buildings are already higher, and the rest is water... What do you gain by doing it beyond the stability that a MILS plate provides?
I not to Shaw why chandging .to mils plate s don't make no different. Yousing the old road plate .you can still Bild up and around the set same way. Just like how Chinese New year's set s are . And like U seed Ninjago set are raised up..around the modules or temple s any way. Only thing is needing dubble the money to add mils plates $22plus each box of miles plate plus fill in brick tuns of stud plate s and ripping of. The base plate. From the modular would .be.a mess around. If it fall s apart around the bottom .
do you have parking in front of banks in the US? just where i live in the UK no parking exists in front of banks its actually to prevent bank robberies
Custom Mills plates can open up depth and bring tree routes to life and pot holes for workers to be filling. They are cool but man hours of work to make them!! Lego just gave us more work. Supprised they havnt ever made stackable road plates like strickly brik.
I’m not sure why a slight curve is necessary between the residential area and the city. Looks like you’ve got a bit of space between the support beam and the city tables. You could just slide them over a touch couldn’t you?
What is the benefit of having MILS layered like you are doing, with the 2x2 in the center? I’m by old and don’t build like you do. Just curious. I am sure I miss your explanation somewhere.
WOW, it looks awesome, but I think it will look even more spectacular when you change the dark bluish gray tiles in front of the modulars to light bluish gray tiles. Then the sidewalks look more realistic
The farm next to the campground makes a lot of sense.
Some things - like the campground - don't necessarily have to be converted to MILS, they could be lower
They could be. But there are lots of advantages to having them on MILS. But I would definitely make it one of the last things I would work on.
The city looks so much better with the mils roads, they give the city so much more details and I can’t wait to see the rest of the city be converted
Love the parking stalls such a functional and realistic idea
This video showed people that a Lego city isn't all fun and games, but a lot of work as the city evolves and changes are made.
For the landscaping have you thought of using the Bonsai tree as a larger tree in a park? Could be an interesting tree in a park for the minifigs.
Bricksie on the road going from the downtown to residential, why don't you try to just move the tables on the downtown side to match the residential side? Also think it be pretty cool if that path between the two is a bridge going over like a river.
Look very great and great job
I love all of the official roads man…it looks so formal and sophisticated. It’s funny how the plates were so controversial when they came out but now they are amazing

This is what I love about LEGO- a display can always be updated or just moved around!
Very big fan from finland 🇫🇮🇫🇮
Looking good! Can’t wait to see how the city will progress in the coming months!
Wow
Got a suggestion, we’re downtown meets residential, why don’t you make a bridge on a hinge. Get rid of the two buildings to the left, then you can lift the bridge and walk through giving you access, instead of having to walk all the way around. Love the channel keep up the good work😄👍🇬🇧

Same
Hey Jordan, watch this video again! Lol look how your city has changed. Crazy!!
The city looks insane
I think you should leave the amusement park as it is. It looks so good now and has a very organic look
With the zoo you could do a safari concept with gives all the animals more space to move around as opposed to individualized smaller confinement. Then do like a water/ snow theme on one side too
Where some of your corners are like near the pillar you could turn that into a city veichle road entrance so the road is not a corner but a 3way
Wow that is just so much work. I think you need to concede on some sections and leave them as is. Along with new sets etc coming out and being built you'll be overworked haha! It's interesting to see the changes.
You should change the school over to in front of the theme part so that you can have that field in the back of it for part of the school like maybe a baseball field or track or something just a thought
awesome video jodan the new roads look amazing and i love the new parking stalls great detail
your hard work will definitely make the city awesome
Suggestion!!!!!!!!! Just a suggestion but I think you should move the corner garage to the end of the table where you are going to connect the tables. That way you can take out that random road plate leading to nowhere and have more space. Just a suggestion.
The projects looking great. Those mils plates really elevate the look. I would like to see the process for converting the modular buildings over.
Thank you! You betcha we will be vlogging the conversion process
Love the progress on the city especially love the all the details in the around each of the downtown building .. gonna be doing the batmobile build tonight super excited .. keep building
See, you need the "Lego House".
Your city is amazing.
Despite mils not being my thing personally, your set up looks great, so rich in detail and depth, wow 👏🙌
Great looking city. Looks very realistic.
Looks awesome. Loving the new road! You’ve inspired me to display my Lego. I’ve only got a small bedroom in the cellar where it can go - so I bought my first ever Lego display table today! I’m really excited to start building a full fairground!
I underestimated how much it would improve the city! Looks great.
Soooo Excited to see your LEGO city grow!!!!
Awesame video jordan! Well done
Assembly Square might look nice where the Grand Emporium is now. Everything looks great so far!
It is looking so good I am so excited for the future of the lego city!!!!
Keep building! Can wait to see the entire downtown on mills system.
Would look good with street lights along the roads, bins and bus tops 😃
A suggestion I have is in most cities the middle line is not present in an intersection so you should replace those tiles with regular dbg
Amazing City , well done 👌😊
Love how much more Mils adds to the city
Love it. All the power to ya bud! I just spent 2 weeks re-building destructed sets, sorting pieces by colour and building my step-son a lego city with an 8x4 ft melamine board, and I’m exhausted from it. Lol! I’m watching your plans and my brain hurts. 😂
Going great
I hope Lego brings out curved road pieces, I feel like you've done your best but they aren't that smooth. I like the T junctions though
Yes ..that's why I'm staying with the old road plate s 👍🤫. And you can still build up. Around the set s like. Thay all doing with mils plate s. You need dubble the .stud plate s and $ 8 to 900 dollers
Yup
Can you move the downtown core tables to straight the road to residentail area?
What I’m thinking. Just the easiest fix really
love the city u inspire me to do my own lego city
I’m interested in how you do assembly square and the amusement park. I’m about to do my assembly square in MILS and am saving it for last since I haven’t seen one video on how to handle that.
Looks brill.
Great progress. It must have taken a lot of effort and resources to go to MILS 😄
Real cool, nice man👍
This is totally epic!
Props none the less 👌
nice video
I really think I might go mils after all these mils vids! Keep up the great work.
Is there a MOC for 12 grinwald place? That looks very nice!
Does it make sense to put the Ninjago City sets on MILS? They buildings are already higher, and the rest is water...
What do you gain by doing it beyond the stability that a MILS plate provides?

The roads need some variety, pot-holes and sewer access covers. It's too clean!
When you build them just make like a bunch at once and then compare them so you can spot the mistakes if any
do you have parking in front of banks in the US? just where i live in the UK no parking exists in front of banks its actually to prevent bank robberies
It's looking good!
That road work puts all the city works to shame haha
I think the University would look great next to the museum!
Will you add an airport?
Would be nice to even find one on the shelves around me
Yeah, a lot of scalpers around!
Lol no one is scalping roads. Look at Walmart, target or Amazon.
omg u deserve 100 subs no cap
I love Your video’s bricksie
there aren't any stop signs or lights. THIS IS CHAOS!
We'll add lights, figures, cars and other details back once everything is done.
Will you do more tutorials in the different variants of the MILS roads ?
LETS GO!
You should swap the Boutique hotel and grand emporium i think it will make more sense
How much does a mils plate weigh? just wondering how much weight you have added :) amazing video
Very nice.
Custom Mills plates can open up depth and bring tree routes to life and pot holes for workers to be filling. They are cool but man hours of work to make them!! Lego just gave us more work. Supprised they havnt ever made stackable road plates like strickly brik.
You should turn the farm into a petting zoo
You have put the floors on the grand emporium on the wrong way round!!!
LOL
The city looks better than my
big fan bro love from india
I love it 🤩🇩🇰
Enough to do to keep you out of trouble! Or will it???
I’m not sure why a slight curve is necessary between the residential area and the city. Looks like you’ve got a bit of space between the support beam and the city tables. You could just slide them over a touch couldn’t you?
I already moved it lol. Stay tuned
Have you broke it down in $ how much each mills plat cost total?
What is the benefit of having MILS layered like you are doing, with the 2x2 in the center? I’m by old and don’t build like you do. Just curious. I am sure I miss your explanation somewhere.
Strength of plate, ease of connection, depth for realistic landscaping
Bro finished it 😳
could you approximate which part numbers i would need to convert my lego roller coaster to mils? THANKS
12:00 you look like a weather forecaster
Clouds coming in from the west on this windy day
Bricksie try and make a rural area
Mils mils mils mils mils
Where did you get all the shelves/bookcases ?
Ikea
I think u should make a airport.
55 that's a lot
Why is the Flintstone house on the bulk head and not part of the city ?
Because it’s Brickmonton not Bedrock
@@ryangann799 ye but its also not Springfield yet the Simpson,s house and Kwik E Mart are both there .
LOL Ryan Gann
What are MILS? I don't build any Lego (I can't afford it) but I enjoy your videos. Thanks.
Snazzy :)
What was the reason why your opinions on the new road system changed? I thought you weren’t going to convert the Lego city to them lol
My opinion really changed after building one to try it out. There's just so many positives.
Are lights next? 😀
No plans to add lights
WOW, it looks awesome, but I think it will look even more spectacular when you change the dark bluish gray tiles in front of the modulars to light bluish gray tiles. Then the sidewalks look more realistic
Well if you have done 50+ roads in no time you will fly through the Modular building transition 🙂
RO-ADS. ROOOODS
