Slow burn for TF and VR right as GI Joe gets its first issue in the main series. I'm happy the writers are taking their time and not feeling like every issue needs to have a mind bending moment.

I think the implication for "Unity" is that it's a double edged sword. On the one hand, unity will tear down the established order and, either metaphorically or literally, tear apart the Sacred Ring. On the other hand, you cannot convince me that the current status quo, with Agorrians and Zertonians being misled by their leaders, and are the victims of a genrations long conspiracy. Zertonians are starving in the streets, and entire sectors of their capital city are without power, while Agorria, has plenty of resources, will launch missions to ensure that Zertonia remains in dire straits.
Even if Zerta has ulterior motives, or if it brings back Goliant, Unity in of itself is the solution to the Sacred Ring's problems, because the way things are now is unsustainable.
Doesn't help that there are two interpretations of Unity; Zerta claims that Goliant is coming, and that the people's only chance is to embrace unity between themselves. Meanwhile Dulin, Zaliak, and Proximus believe that Unity itself is what will bring back Goliant and cause the end of the world as we know it.
Personally, my view is that GOliant's going to come back because of Unity, but Unity is also the only way for the Sacred Ring to survive, and even if it does bring back Goliant, they'll be bettrer prepared to handle that together.
