Hi Karen glad you had a good time with your sister and your trip to London The concert looked amazing it would be good for you to have the break I love all your fabrics you bought what an experience you would have had a hard job picking fabric I’m looking forward to seeing what you decide to make Have a great few days in Seahouses ❤️😘
Actually I live about 30 minutes away from London...Ontario Canada. And they have a Thames River running through too. Not as big as your London, but one of the biggest cities in Canada.
Lovely bag but I'd of thought a high end bag would have been lined with maybe a beautiful silk, or something, as it looks a tad unfinished to me. Great haul Karen. Hope your chemo is doing it's job well too 😊
Glad you enjoyed your fabric shop. Personally, i don't get the attraction of Goldhawk Road. I find the chaos in most of the stores overwhelming and totally agree the lack of pricing is infuriating, it makes you wonder if they make them up for each customer. Probably i'm just cynical! That rust linen would be a superb match to the top you have on if your sister declines the trousers.
So good to see y.😊 I can vouch that the weather in western Pennsylvania is just as " pants" as yours!😅 I'm an obsessed gardener and it is depressing, oh well, there's always youtube 😂
Nice to see you back ❤. Glad you had a lovely time in my neck of the woods and got some lovely fabrics, can't wait to see what you make. Hope all going okay 🤞 xx
Hi Karen so glad you enjoyed your time away with your sister shopping for that lovely fabric , looking forward to seeing what you do with it , I always think if I have to ask the price I can’t afford it lol 😂. Have a great break fingers crossed for some sunshine or just dry weather would be good 🤞🏻Amanda xx🥰
Your cotton lawn is a Liberty print called Ianthe & retails at 28 pounds a metre! I've been saving some for years :) So you got 3 metres for less than the price of one!! Amazing, Great to see you again Karen, thanks for sharing your fabulous haul! xXx Have a wonderful, relaxing time away :)
Hi Karen. Good to see you🥰 Absolutely love the art deco type fabric. I would make a loose kimono type top with that to go with jeans and t shirt. Do any of your lovely community have a pattern they could recommend? I just need basic, easy to sew and no belt or anything like that. I have been looking but can't find one I like☹️ Take care. 😘😘
Those bags are fabulous Rachel from stitched up was also lucky enough to get one. My personal favourite is a Radley. I have a trip to Goldhawk Road on my list this year.
So lovely to see you and glad you had a good trip. Serious FOMO from me but agree the no price issue is annoying. I have your first fabric in blue and made the Jenna shirt which I love but paid almost double for my fabric at Lamazi! All your fabrics are lovely and looking at the footage of such beautiful fabrics I think you were very restrained!!!! Looking forward to seeing your makes. (Weather in Wales is pants too 😂😂. )😊 Happy Sewing. Lynne
