The most interesting thing about this track is that it doesn't feel like a musical piece at all. It feels mesmerazing as others have pointed out. As if you were not hearing instruments except for the xylophone, and instead you hear (at least the way I see It) the sounds of the time machine itself, the universe, the time trivel itself. It's hard to put into words, but it feels as if the whole science and mysteries behind time travel were put in a OST in a form of music, while keeping the tone of the track mysterious and even somewhat ominous as it could lead (and It does in the series) to unprecedented consequences
Any one else notice a faint chanting-like vocalization in the background at 3:35 and again at 3:40? It sounds like voices with a slight sound distortion so it sounds harsher like through a walkie-talkie or a file that was compressed and then un-compressed.
