It's not absolutely necessary to remove the grille. I just find it makes it easier to get the headlights seated correctly. Plus my grille just pops right off. But yes, it can be done without removing the grille.

I bought them from z-offroad. And now that I'm noticing that when I break the driver side amber lights up brighter and I Swapped the polarity an still nothing
@@xxlancelowell they do appear to be a similar product. Not sure where Z-Offroad gets their lights or if they offer them with the clear reflectors. But we're the only ones that offer the animated startup version 😏

Those are a custom build from a few years ago. We're still looking for a good set of fog lights for these trucks. Just haven't found the right ones yet.

How on earth did you get the L shaped lights on by themselves? and the low beams come on when switched to "auto" and "on." I have a 2004 silverado HD

I bought it off eBay some years back. The red pinstripe was hand painted when I had the rest of the truck pinstriped.
I have mine installed but it's making my right foglight turn on when I break any ideas why this is?

That was a reinforcement I had to add for a previous set of lights. Not necessary for these new lights at all. I just hadn't bothered to remove it.
