can someone help me, i installed rally world mod but i can only see a few cars (cache 0), can only see the eclipse x5 f40 and 1 or 2 more .... what do i do ?
I wonder why don't they do this mods for a better game engine than this crap. I just wished someone would do all those mods for the WTCC game instead which has a way better sound\graphic support and crazy physics too.
GodOfGamingBG The version is probably very, but really very different... GT Legends is very old and uses the same game engine, but modified a little, it looks years ahead of Rfactor. WTCC looks like it is totally different in everything, physics, sound quality and graphic quality.
Before saying that these look better than rFactor, I've gotta ask you if you've seen the best rFactor has to offer, as what this video shows is far from it. The RallyWorld mod creators are focusing on quantity over quality, if you want to see some real nice looking and handling cars, check GeroDa74's handywork. Same with the tracks, these in the videos are some of the ugliest tracks I've seen for this game, you can compare with LeMax's work for example.
GodOfGamingBG I tried lots of mods and never liked it, as everything looks dull. I kinda liked the Drift mod Project D, but only on the park track. For rally, Richard Burns with mods is way ahead and looks pretty real too (though without mods I don't like it's gameplay). for pure GT I prefer GTR series from Simbin. But Rfactor is one of the simulators with more mods in it to chose, but I wonder why wouldn't they do those mods in a better gaming engine that support better sound effects, better graphics, improved effects.... For example NFS Shift 2 game engine looks pretty sick, but the game totally suck, I fckin hate the gameplay, but no one made cool realistic handling mods for it (there's only 1 and a few tweaks, I tried them, but they were still so damn arcade and stupid...).
GTR 2, Race 07, GT Legends, rFactor, GTR Evolution, Race On, all use the same engine, I'm not sure which engine RBR uses but it might be the same too. As such, if you directly convert cars and tracks from any of these games to rFactor, they look and feel exactly the same. And that is far from the best that rFactor can do, it seems you really haven't seen the best looking and feeling mods. Well, whatever, go check one new game - Assetto Corsa. It's still in Early Access, but it already surpasses any other game you can name with its physics, and the graphics are top tier too. And it supports modding :)
You just made rally look 10x better, not that it ever sucked.

That WTCC game that you're talking about is on the exact same engine though :)
