Thank you for nice words. The gearbox is a little clunky, but I guess the driver has to take some of the blame for the clunky clutch....:). All in all the K1600 GT/GTL is a wonderfull machine.

Hi. I have driven both the K1600 and the HD Electra Glide. I guess it depending on where you want to drive and what kind of roads you want to drive. In my experience the HD loves the long and straigth roads and the K1600 loves the winding roads.

Lots of good comments, but everyone is missing the most important one. Why are automobiles allowed on these motorcycle roads, ruining it for us bikers?
Hi. I can see that you a have a tough choice to make. I am not an expert, but I guess it depends on what kind of roads you want to drive. I once drove an HD Electra Glide on Route 66 from Chicago till LA. It was wonderfull on the long highways, but when we hit the winding roads I found that the foot pegs hit the road too much for my driving style. I am a fan of the BMW, but I guess it will not be the right bike for everyone.

I guess there may be different opinions about this, but me, I like driving uphill. Let the bike pull me throught the turns and further up.

this speed you can also go with a 250cc bike, super slow in curves
so, buy and drive a 250cc.

quickshift is for high rpm they need to use clutch but is big story!!is marketing quickshift is for moto gp not for us and no good fo the gearbox
