Hi. Thanks for coming back after many years, blessing us all again. Can i ask if you would upload your guitar effects settings? I'm an amateur and would appreciate the line6 settings files (assuming you're using line6), instead of pulling my hair out trying to get the same effects sounds. Thanks
Hi! I'm using the Boss GT1000 actually, don't think that many people use it so I've not really put up my patches though I'd be happy to. For multi-effects, I think it's generally useful to put a parametric EQ before the amp to remove some of the lower frequencies, this tightens the bass and gets a better 'chug' out of a distorted tone. I also put a parametric EQ after the amp to remove some of the higher freqencies to take out fizz. Another tip is to put a very short, barely noticeable delay after the amp, to make the tone less dry and give it more 'space'. Lastly, use a 3rd party IR. (I'm using the limited edition Halloween pack from ML Sound Labs which costs only 10 Euros).
@@guitarpraisechannel thanks. I'm out of luck then. Could you then just list down the effects types you use in the description for future videos? Just a summary will do, not asking for detailed settings which takes too much of your time. It would really help amateurs like me out there who are new to guitar effects. Tqvm!
Thanks for sharing.
To this day I always hear Buddy Holly on that solo
