The "DBZ Budokai 4" mod Project is a fan-made modification of the original "DBZ Infinite World" on PS2, running on PCSX2 emulator.
It features new gameplay, fixed fatigue system, new Comeback System, new costumes, new characters, new stages, new transformations, new capsules, new moves, new movepools, new inputs, new Specials, new RTFs and many other Quality-of-Life improvements.

This Project was born from the collaboration between NIM and Dr. Doppietta, with the partecipation of other modders like SamuelDoesStuff, MetalFrieza3000 and ASTR47 / Trevon1344.

Rip Akira Toriyama: right now I am just thinking about the man's imagination and how many people's lives it's touched and not just appreciation but also hours months years the people have dedicated their time to work on his franchise as a whole and all the people that felt inspired to do the same with fan manga fan animation and game mods such as this one. Was he truly aware how far the rabbit hole goes? Did he know about the kid that fought off wasps thinking he was vegito? He must have known about the fitness transformations that people did because of his work. The career choices and the ethics built. The tough times in people's lives were they knew they could power through while using their favorite moments as a conduit to make their lives better again. Did he know? Did he truly know? Thank you Akira Toriyama your worth what's more than just a story. It was a vessel for us to reach our potentials ceiling no matter how down and out we could possibly be and break Beyond it fortifying our pride so we can tell ourselves there are no limits. Just the journey ahead.

I know it's asking too much on top of what we are already getting but I'd love to play as the what if fusions of Budokai 2: tiencha, gokule and the majin buu absorptions (Vegeta, Frieza, cell and tiencha)

They reworked transformation system. Those could work as Buu's transformation capsules.
We will eventually (try to) port B2 Gokule, Tiencha & Super Buu's special absorptions.
No promises, though. Porting from B2 is a *big* work load.
Seeing this map back from Budokai 2 soothed me
I wish we could have the gameplay of this plus another road and the content of Budokai 3 all rolled into one. That'd kick ass for sure.
Yes, they will import budokai 3 story mode, tournament mode, beam struggles and burst mode because it will be possible in 2036.
Sadly there are many limitations to what we can port.
Surely Budokai 3 story mode and other content is out of question.
@Dr._Doppietta I didn't mean to imply you could do it. It was just a hypothetical statement. I don't expect that from this project, but I do wonder what all will be added aside from character buffs
There's very little left to add beside new characters, costumes, moves and specials.
We ported B2 stages, not perfectly, and we added a LOT of QoLs improvements. But I don't see anything else feasible after these.

Does the project intend to bring together all the characters already seen in all Budokai (including the Shin Budokai)? like a "definitive" version of this wonderful series
From what I've seen shin budokai already makes an entry, even some moves have been ported as well as future gohan, the only challenge for the team i think will be updating and balacing characters like zarbon and dodoria who were still made for the older gameplay
Infinite World was advertised as a Budokai that has every best element from all Budokai's, but it was a lie.
Doc and his team are basically fulfilling what was promised with extra love and care. So yes, this Budokai is the budokai to complete them all!
Not every and any single one of them, but most of what we can (and care to) port to Budokai 4 will, sooner or later, come to become playable. :)

Feels weird to have the Majuub form just be a random transformation, and the face at the end looks a bit weird - but everything else is pretty good! Good job, lad!
Question though, what about the End of Z Uub from the original Budokai 3?
he has the same moveset of b3 in base...

Suppose it works like the sync with nail and fuse with Kami transformations for Piccolo. It's a similar type of fusion.
If Uub was popular, I can imagine there would be two Uub characters. Dbz uub and GT uub (where he fuses with majin buu)
We decided to NOT port EoZ Uub 'cause he was way too short and had messed up hurtboxes.
We choose GT Uub exactly for his taller build, making him easier to hit.
We don't plan to port EoZ Uub at all, maybe just a costume for Uub but nothing more.

This mod is intended for competitive play between players.
Beside the fact that, as Sun-Noir said, this is a PvP focused competitive mod, so CPU is only there as a warm up, we have actually dwelled into its coding to improve it, but it proved to be way too long and complex for it to be worth it.
Especially so early in the game's development.
Majuub has a ultimate attack like others characters or only have specials ?
No, only RTFs.
We can't create scripted Ults.

Does uub have ki blast in infinite world?
Uub is *not* in DBZ Infinite World.
He was in DBZ Budokai 3, but he had no Ki-Blasts there.
