Thanks Paul! It is great to cut wet but dry it can be a Pine in the Ash 😁 There was some tension in some of the subsequent logs but I got them stacked and stickered with some weight.
That’s a nice load of logs. They look pretty straight That looks like they way they hooked to horses or mules together. Good job there Sir. Good looking stuff.
Nice job Paul. I cut some spruce this spring, set it up to dry, can't get over how strait and dry it was when I used it the other day.

THAT was a VERY nice Spruce. You got a lot of beautiful lumber
Thanks Dave! I've milled 8 or 9 more since filming Monday and this one has been the best so far.
Nice work
Thanks Erik!

Thanks Steve. When the tree service guy brings logs to make lumber for him they tend to be the nicest ones, hmmm 🤔🤣
Good video Paul. I would much rather saw spruce than pine.
Brent
It is wonderful to saw wet, not so wonderful dry. Thanks for watching and commenting Brent!
I gotta get spruce from your tree guy, no lumps! That was part of a horse carriage that the reins pass through that ring.
He does bring nice stuff, most of the time. 😉 I was leaning towards reins passing thru too, but I don't know what that other thingy would be.
@@southernadirondackoutdoors it's where you hang the loose end so they don't fall.
they are a Pair of Antique Iron HORSE MULE HAMES . one side
I'll have to look for the other half. Thanks Chris!
Could be some type of rollock used to hold oars on a rowing boat
Interesting, I hadn't considered a possible nautical connection.
It's the flux capacitor from an old microwave.
Or, maybe a new flux capacitor that went back in time and got lost. 😁
I thought it looked like part of a carriage harness.
