THANK YOU! I just applied to 4 airlines and my husband and I were discussing the possibility that I may be based across the state. This video was very helpful! Fingers crossed that I get a CJO 😊

Hi! One of your videos showed up in my timeline. I am not a FA but I do watch a lot of FA content. First thing I noticed was the name & yes my name is Valencia. I have checked out at least 2 of your videos & I have subscribed. I’m enjoying your videos so far. Congrats on your new career.
Hey there Valencia. Great to meet you. Awesome that you found me. Thanks so much for the comment, I hope you enjoy the content. Thanks for subscribing and let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day. 😁
Hello there. I would say one of the top things is Organization. Try to make as much room and the ability to organize their things. Space is King. Also, if there is a place they can get ready and not disturb others that are sleeping would be a huge plus. Hope that helps. Thanks so much for the comment and for watching.😊
Hi there. Thank you so very much! I really appreciate your comment. Hope you’re doing well. Thanks for watching and subscribing. See you soon on the next one! 😊

Thank you for such an informative video. I learned a lots and took many notes. I love your current situation and hope to find something similar after training!
Hi there Michele. Thanks so much for the comment! I hope it did help. I appreciate you watching and subscribing. I’ll have new content out soon. Have a great day. 😄
Hey there, David, thank you so much for the comment. I hope the information helps. I appreciate you watching and subscribing. I’ll have more videos soon. Have a great day.
Thanks for the video. This was great coverage on crash pads. The information was invaluable. I only hope that I will be so lucky in finding something like you did. Not a huge fan of bunk beds…your situation sounds optimal!
@@valenciaflyerI am sure I will have many more questions. My training starts the end of November. Do commuters get to park for free at the airport in their home airport? My airline has a satellite base in the airport near where I reside.
Hi VF. Looks like you had a short clip of your place - Clarion Airport Hotel. Clarion is a respectable chain. Great that you have compatible roomies. Can make ALL the difference Been able to stay off the 717s so far? Herman
I would like to turn my home into a crashpad. If I have a 3 bedroom home with 3 beds am I only allowed 3 individuals access to my home? Or can I have as many people as possible as long as it works with everyones schedule?
Hello there. In my opinion, it might be possible to put two people to a room if there’s enough space for two beds and dressers in each room. Making it comfortable is a top priority. Space and organization are very important. Hope that is helpful. Thanks so much for the comment And for watching. Take care.😁
So far I have not encountered anyone that requires a credit check. You do have to be an active flight attendant though. Therefore, they might ask you for your ID as a flight attendant. But I think that would be the most that they need to verify you. Thanks for the question, and thanks for watching and subscribing. Have a wonderful evening.
Hello there. So sorry for the delay in response. Hope you’re doing well and you had a great holiday. I think the first thing I would do is research other crash pads in the area. Maybe even visit a few of them if possible. The best ones are the ones that have the flight attendant in mind. Not just bodies that come and go. If he has a clean and thoughtful place, then it will go far. Hope this helps. Happy new year. 🙂
That would depend on your arrangement with the owner. The typical is 6 nights, 12 nights or 30 nights a month. All with different price points. The price is not drastically different between 6 and 30 so shop around. Hope it helps. Thanks for the question. 😃
Hey there Michael. Hope you’re well. Thanks for the question. Honestly, at this point, I’m not quite sure since I will be doing my taxes as a flight attendant for the very first time in the coming months. I will definitely let you know and probably create an episode on all of that. Until then, thanks again for watching and subscribing. Take care. 😁
Good morning. That’s a great question. From my understanding it’s mostly reserved for flight attendants. Ramp workers typically live in the same city that they work. Therefore, I don’t think they would be accepted. Crash pads are set up for people who do not live in that city that they are based in. That way they have a place to crash For the night when waiting for their next rotation. Especially during on-call reserve days. Thanks again for the question, hope you enjoy the content. Have a wonderful weekend. 😀
Hello again. I would imagine that a crash pad is a write off. As long as you have a receipt to show your payments. Don’t quote me on that yet, but I imagine it would be.
I wish!! But honestly that’s not their business model. Some airports have hotels inside them but for us FAs the best we can hope for is a lounge that is provided by our company. 🙂
Thanks for sharing. I'm launching a new crashpad in Houston IAH so this helps in understanding what you all like and dislike! :-)
That’s awesome! I’m glad this helped. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! Let me know if you have any other questions. Have a good one! 😄

Did you get it?
Unfortunately no, but I would say the experience was great! I am presently in Ohio for another F2F and I have a VI on Thursday 😊
My god! 1100 a month for four person. You guys are so lucky!

I am going to put the room for rent near Houston IAH. Trying to understand what I need to organize for hard working airlines people. Thank you.

Depending on your airline I do think that they will provide parking at headquarters. Congrats!
So far yes, no 717. Haha. We’ll see how long that lasts!
Thank you so much! Please wish me luck for United Airlines! Waiting for a 1:1 and then I’m hoping for SFO
All the best to you. Please let us know how it goes!! 😀🙏

Can a flight attendant have the air lines pay for their hotel room
Hi there.
They will only pay it when you’re on a job rotation during one of your layovers. Otherwise it’s up to you.
Thanks for the question. 😄
Hope all is well with you and all is good. Are you planning to post any videos anytime soon? No pressure but you’re missed!
Hey there David. Thanks for reaching out. I do have another one coming soon this coming week. Sorry for the delay. Been flying a lot this month. ✈️
👍
Do you need credit check to get one ?

My son wants to convert 2 rooms to crashpad in his house he lives in. In Charlotte. What do you recommend he do to start this?

How many times a month one person stays there?

QUESTION: How much of your commute is a tax write-off if you don't live in-base? (Bed, Food, shuttle, etc)
Hey there Michael. Hope you’re well. Thanks for the question. Good morning.

QUESTION: is crash-pad expense a tax write-off?
Hello again. I would imagine that a crash pad is a write off. As long as you have a receipt to show your payments. Don’t quote me on that yet, but I imagine it would be.
Why can’t airports provide crash pads? Just curious.
I wish!!

Please tip your maids too! I’m sur you do🤙
Yes we do actually. Probably once a week.
