Sometimes I grate my butter when making biscuits or anything that needs to have the butter cut in to flour. It makes it so much easier. This looks amazing and you have me wanting to try sourdough to see if I can tolerate it.

When you don't have time to soak French bread casserole bread overnight, just heat up the liquid to barely a simmer then pour over the bread cubes and stir.
