I know I was born a few years after three rivers was Imploded, I still wish the Steelers could have kept three rivers instead of wanting a new facility like how the pirates said... if I were in charge of the Steelers, I would say to keep three rivers for the Steelers
It was a cool experience going to Pirate games there. I liked 3 Rivers a lot! Never been to Heinz Field. It looks ugly on the outside lol. Why do you wish 3 Rivers never got torn down?
@@ScantPear It was nice. It was nice and colorful when you went into the stadium cause of the astroturf and red seats, along with the blue homerun wall. I've been to PNC Park, real grass is better for sports, but not as cool. I know that sounds odd lol. Have you ever been to Heinz Field or PNC Park?
@@ScantPear 3 Rivers did have character. Those ramps on the outside of the stadium were unique. I liked it. Astroturf, while colorful and cool, wasn't the best for baseball or football though. Real grass way better. I've been to PNC Park a couple times for a Pirates game. Last time like over 10 years ago. Never been to Heinz, or the new arena. lol
My dad helped with the construction of Heinz Field. Also with PNC Park but he was not at PNC nearly as much as Heinz.
