Obviously it will have quite an impact, but other means are also important, you can't reach every demographic through social media, but you can spread the word and then have the people spread it further, It has worked really well so far and recognition of Andrew Yang has been on a steady growth, he grew from nothing to being 5th or 6th without ever being into politics, and only being known around tech community and his non-profit company, but look at him now, there is no stopping in sight.

I didn't realize number of donors were measured as support. I'm actually donating just because of that. He has more supporters than the media realizes and if we all donate a dollar not only will it help the campaign financially, it will help get his name out there.

I can't believe how negative Asians are towards Anydrew Yang's running for president. They don't believe he can win...all because he's Asian. One of my friend also told me, he can't win because he's Asian. Yes, more Asian Americans need to vote and engage/contribute more to the American political system. We need to be blind to the fact that Yang is Asian. As an Asian American I will not vote for him because he’s Asian, I will vote for him if I feel he will make America better for all. The candidate who I feel will be most capable of leading America forward and fix problems will get my vote.
Why do I support Andrew Yang? I read his book The War On Normal People and he absolutely nails the coming changes in the economy in the 21st century. I felt such a sense of "this guy gets it" and I said I'd vote for him if he ran for public office. He's very smart, concise and doesn't seem afraid to take on the tough work. He renews my sense of hope and he has my vote!

They're not kissing Andrew's butt, they're not afraid to ask simple questions or difficult / awkward questions for Yang, and they're just cool, collected people. I'm probably gonna keep listening after this 👍

Andrew Yang gets it. Government isn't the final answer, government needs to empower its people to find the answers and solve the problems.
Very much align with the view of founding father; less government and empower the people to find the way. But I disagree with universal health plan, sounds nobel but I see various countries pursuit that route, and proven that government can't do their job with efficiency, so much waste and decades passed, so many problems and program is bankrupted. Just look Canada, schedule an surgery could take half year and they only got 30millions people across the country. We have 300millions, how do we know this ganganic black hole wouldn't suck up all the tax dollars. The funding of universal health plan is a delimma to freedom dividend.

MSM bias, their belief that he isn't a serious candidate, non-career politician, tunnel vision on Biden, etc. Yang is polling nationally above O'Rourke and Booker, this month has been consistently left out of the conversation when news Anchor talk about him. Even got his name wrong to call him John Yang. My point is that Yang is being creative with reaching people. Like driving traffic to his website during the 3rd debate to collect cookie data and e-mail addresses. He's savvy with his strategy and marketing
Scott Santens has a pretty giant Twitter chain showing all the ways mainstream media has gone out of its way to ignore Yang and prop up other candidates, including ones polling way lower than him. Lucky for us, it's not working. Yang still got the most new Twitter follows, Google searches, and website traffic after the last democratic debates even without their help. Imagine how well he'd do if the media actually treated him fairly, for once. Regular people just have to spread the word to friends, parents, and social media so they don't pass up one of the best candidates just because some corporate entity is afraid of losing power over us.

Not being Asian American, I don't get much say on what the correct way to talk about his race is, but I do want to offer a potential explanation for why Yang speaks the way he does about his race. The guy was one of the only (if not _the_ only?) minorities at a very prestigious private high school. Look up his class photo. You know he caught racist jabs all the time from that crowd. I'm guessing he started making the jokes himself as a defense, which is effective, though not without its problems.
Honestly, I think Ryan nailed it in his question: he probably does it to seem more familiar and approachable to middle America and generally voters with more traditional racial expectations. I can't say it's all-around wonderful - even positive discrimination isn't constructive - but politics requires a little soft-shoe and I'd probably be tempted to do the same, facing a room full of people who are already predisposed not to like me.

Guys we need to work together to spread his word and his name. He's polling so low right now because nobody knows him, he gets very little media coverage and so because of that if we want to get his name out there we need to do it ourselves, every little bit counts. Don't berate people, don't tell them that he's better than their candidate even though he is, just tell them to look him up and look into his policies and his interviews and I'm sure they'll change their mind. I don't normally do this, but it's important so like this comment so it gets to the top, we need people spreading the word.
Reason he's polling low is because other than ubi, he's not ready to tackle the rest of the problem this country has

Yang's platform is naive and too hopeful. The VAT tax He will implement will use ~$2,000/year of that UBI money. And what's paying for UBI, according to Yang? "Increased spending". Well, welfare recipients already receive an average of $900, and if you do the math, that's less than what UBI offers! Is Yang trying to trick people?
Also, how will small businesses continue to do business, when the VAT adds a 10% tax on imported goods? That will hit small businesses hard, and encourage wage slavery rather than entrepreneurship.
Also, what if UBI doesn't pas legislation? We will be stuck with new VAT Tax, and no UBI. What if "increased spending" never happens? What government programs will Yang cut first?

To all who want Yang in 2020, look up your states primaries. I live in a state with open primaries so I don't have to declare my party before hand to vote for them. So look it up for where you live and if you need to declare as a Democrat in order to vote in the Democratic Primaries. Then get there and vote. Mine is in march, so that is 9 months before the election. But if you don't tell the party who you want to win the nominee then Yang might not even be on the ballot.

I've been getting more and more into Yang, checking for vids daily (sure I'm not the only one), even considering volunteering for him and I never thought I would for any political reason. All that said, all this will mean nothing and prove again that most of those in our age group can't translate internet presence into votes.

Yang is the ONLY politician I’ve ever seen to be so educated, intelligent, humble and genuine. I truly think his policies will make America exponentially better. A lot of politicians decide to run, and then scrounge around for a platform. Their speeches are just word salads. In contrast, Andrew had a platform, nobody in power would do anything about it, so he decided to run. That's why he knows what matters - it's what drove him to run.

This is the first candidate I think I’ve ever liked. He seems so genuine. I don’t agree with everything he says, but I trust his decisions.
He’d honestly be a really good republican candidate if he wanted to be.
The only thing that I think would be a obstruction for republicans would be the “money from the government” stuff . If he hits the “it’s not communism, it’s capitalism where the start isn’t 0. I’m a capitalist.” point soon enough, I think that would be the spark for republicans to start falling in love with this guy.
