The reason the controller lit up once and ended on the official Sony charging station is because your controller is already at full battery. If it needed to charge, then the yellow light will remain lit until fully charged. It does it on mine .

Wtf I just played for like 4 hours and it lit up once lol it is a veryyy good battery in that case! I was worried. Thx for telling me, I kept fiddling with the charging station

The little plug in things are supposed to just stay in the controller at all times. Never remove them. Why would you? Then you just rest in the cradle when you need to charge.

These seem wobbly. The point is to make sure it's easy to take off. Also your controller lights up when it's charging. When it's fully charged it no longer flashes. also the official has a less chance to break. Great video man! I subbed

This video is funny... controlers stop flashing because they are already charged. And the adapters are meant to stay the the controller att all times so it just magnet contact charges similar 3 the official dock. Do some research at least...
No.. some are broken. Mine blinks once then does NOT charge it. Its a very common problem.
I wouldn't dare put my 2 $70 controller on those off brands ewww😬

I have just received a PS 5 Console today and am hoping to set it up soon. I have ordered off an ebay seller this style charging dock - 1:00 One question - can you leave the power on for good, so all you ever have to do is attach the controllers to it to charge? With out the hassle of always turning the charger docks on at the power point every time?
My ps5 controller charging port broke so i think its the best to get the official chraging station as its more realiable and u dont have to charge from the front
All those cheap alternatives are trash so official Sony is the best seriously...
The two third party once do not even come with a power adapter ... I wonder how much people will destroy 2 controller with those because they thought a Samsung adaptive quick charge adapter would do the trick (that are the once that can go to 9V and destroyed a lot of DS4’s because of this)
Safest way would be a Apple iPad/iPhone charger (as those are only 5V)

Far better than Sony or any other, Looks fantastic and the charger lights up orange ish just like the controller while it's charging & it's USB C powered. Highly recommended

Does it fully charge to 100% or only to 70%? I got a ps5 base stand that has the charging and it says only up to 70% due to the IC chip of the controller for protection... Does the sony charge to 100%

Is kind of incredible that I bought a $ 9.99 charging station from Amazon and I thought it works great which it did,but my sister hook me up with the original Sony one,and incredibly the $9.99 charger that I bought before " probably made in China or Vietnam " outperforms the original Sony one in terms of charging speed and for the money is the best for your buck kind of product, although it have a little problem and that is that yes the charger comes with the usb cable,but for some reason the electric plug is not included,but if you are anything like me you must have one or 2 around and to use it simply put it on the usb cable and the other end on a wall outlet,and it comply with almost every phone charger spec so yeah simply connect it and you are good to go.Also when I bought it I was looking for the original Sony one,but it was nowhere to be found,then after much scrolling I saw the one I'm talking about for $9.99 my rational at the moment was that I'm gonna buy the cheaper one because when I get the Sony one at least i didn't expend much,but damn what a pleasant surprise that this thing being the cheapest charger is literally awesome,also after buy it it was at $3.99 4 freaking dollars for a charger that does everything it said it does,yes the box instead of saying " for ps5" it said " for p5" but I can confirm that this particular charger;imo is the best for your money even if compared to the Sony one
yup.. easy to plug the stick in and then put on the charger.. but in that case it1s not easyer than plug in the charger cabel and put on the desk the controller itself
I got the collective minds charging station which they say is authorized by Sony and is sold at gamestop which I thought was the sony one at first.
Check Amazon they have charging stations up there and they work just as good as Sony’s does

I'm surprised that you did not know how these controller charge. You could have figured out that they are full already full charged that's why the light won't stay.. before you made this video.
Wrong. A lot of them come broken. They blink once then do NOT charge the controller. Mine does this.

No it does not look like a PSP charger ...
It actually is the PSP charger (just like with the PS4 charging stand)
They must still have a lot of those and it is 2A so should be good enough for charging 2 controllers at the same time
The official one is too big for me, I'll go with something else.
I would be concerned about 3rd party power supply products. Sometimes batteries in your devices can take damage due to improper charging source. I stuck with the sony one , works great.
