I bought this 20 minutes ago $10 seems very solid i like to recharge without always needing my PS5 on. Plus i just unboxed my PS5 and started using it today.
Thanks for the review! I just opened mine 30 minutes ago because it came with the PS5 Digital Bundle from GameStop. I prefer the traditional AC adapter rather than USB because it'll charge faster.
Hey have u seen the first version of the charging station? It’s called the dual sense charging station, but the new one (I’m assuming u got with the bundle from GameStop, which I also got) is called the “powerA dual sense charging station. And I was wondering are u happy that u got the “powerA” version or would u rather have the other version (the dual sense charging station) And was also wondering if their are any new features with the powerA version
@@Tayler07 the first one is Sony Branded and the 2nd (PowerA) is just Sony licensed. I'm pretty satisfied with the PowerA version. I think the main difference would be charging station shape. I did wish a led indicator was available, but it's fine
Bought one last night and this review has helped ease my mind with going with power A over official. Never really had issues with PowerA stuff but you never know.
I have a white and purple controller and right now I just use my xbox series x charging cord to charge them (and my xbox controllers) lol.
I have the same charger as your old one, the power a that offers faster charging and easier mounting is a win for me. My old one sometimes wouldn't charge for me that well
When the pad is charged, does it stop charging or do I have to take it off ?
Im sure the power supply is important. The official Ps5 charging station uses the AC power also!!

Anyone have a disconnect experience with the charger? After charging, powering on ps5 from a freshly charged controller, the ps5 treats it like it doesn’t exist. The ONLY way i’ve been able to fix this is to cycle power on the ps5.
I wish this had a USB-C port instead of the AC port for charging. That way they could include a USB-C to A cord and a USB plug adapter to give us the option of using USB or AC charging. I'm at maximum capacity for additional plugs but being able to run this to a powered hub that I already have would be nice. I don't care if takes longer to charge; I'm just going to throw the controller on the dock in between play sessions anyway.
you do realise that if they made it usb c that the charging speed would be slower even if you used a usb plug?

Can I leave my controllers on the charging stance and not worry about them over charging? I don’t have to disconnect the cord or are they safe like that? 👍🏼

my official dualsense charger is taking long to charge my ps5 controllers, so i changed it to my power A charger seemed to charge another controller ok.
How long is the cord?

I just bought this junk I’ve had my control charging on it for 3 hours my remote is still blinking orange wtf
I have the same issue. I never know if my controllers are fully charged because it never stops blinking orange. Had my controllers on for 4 hours.
Same rite now & is not charging been their for 30 min

SONY stopped making PS5 plates so if you want to change yours you going to have to pay alot.
