I pretty much agree with this tier list for the most part. Personally I think the Calcharo and Danjin tier is for people who actually grind out the combat in this game.
Calcharo and Danjin feel so satisfy when everything connect, but so bad when it wont. And tbh they deserve a different tierlist own their own, like how good are XYZ characters when u unga bunga and how good are they when you master their technique.
Well it says the tier list is for the tower, for which danjin isn't that great compared to others as a main dps
But I'm so used to her so she has been contributing in my full clears, sometimes as a turtle holder lol
If we're talking about hologram, she's the goat unless skill issue
@@Ionic_GlaceI don’t think they are quite the same. Danjin’s mechanics is ok and you just need to be really skilled in dodging and parrying, and Danjin’s super short animations and simple visual effects help in those regards. Well calcharo, yes you need skill, but his mechanics is flawed. No matter how skilled you are, there is no way you can get 3 death messenger every ult unless you wait and only uses his ult when the boss’ toughness bar is broken, which is not always the best dps. His dodge counters don’t give killing intent and are super lengthy. There is currently no Zhongli in WUWA that can make him just tank all hits and get 10 killing intents during his super short ult window. Some of his problems are definitely fixable with skill, but what skill can you perform against let’s say the lv100 dark bird in the red tower floor 1 of this abyss to stop it from flying and moving around? I’ve been playing him all night on that floor trying to get 3 death messengers and there’s just no way he can get 3 every single ult, in fact I’ve started doing just 2 death messengers as a baseline, and just play him alongside changli for quick swapping and it feels better to not stress about 3 death messengers.
Tl;dr Danjin and calcharo are both hard, but calcharo’s mechanics is flawed.
This tier list is about to change with Yao release if they don't nerf him of course, that unit is looking fcking insane

for chalcaro user no need to be dissapointed.. as long as you are skilled you can even deal t0 dps at least tier list wise.. the only thing stopping you is your own skill but hey we all know that even chixia can solo dif 6 hologram so take everything with a grain of salt because it's a skill based game but some character having it easier than other is a fact
Facts. I use Cal all the time and I have zero complaints. My main team is him. Jinshi and Verina. I'm having fun and killing content
Bro i just level up my Danjin and with awful echoes and bad stat she already is dealing more damage than my Calcharo super invested, what a useless character if you ask me, is a mistake to expend resource on him, Havoc Rover, Danjin and Yao in the future are way better unit overall
@@Mordred_King this is just my opinion since i don't know the way you play but i can be sure that you probably not playing chalcaro optimally enough and danjin has very good dmg we all know that but it's not without it's flaw which is lesser error tolerance allowed in endgame but ofc it's not a problem if you can full parry and dodge everything

@@kayyam9959 there is not such best way to play Calcharo, the idea is to do 3 DM's per rotation consistenly and that's it, stop with the cope please Calcharo is not hard to play, he is very staright forward and deals less damage than a lot of 4 star dps, bro they nerf him by 50% on launch, ain't no way this character is good and he will get powercrept in 1.2 by Yao already, unless you like the character investing on him is a waste of resource like i did

the skill ceiling is that high.
Why is it so hard to do regular tiers? SS, S, A, B, C, D...Theres a reason everyone uses that format. This need to be different is making the tier list jumbled and gross to look at.
SS is tier 0; S is tier 0.5; A is tier 1;... It easy to understand tho. also using number allow you to weave in the unit that fitting into the higher teir but doesnt compete with any of their pier inside that tier.
Concept wise, Prywden did a good job on seperating DPS with Sub DPS and Support, but their rating and sometime wierd take is the reason most of the time I would not check the teirlist.
@@Ionic_Glace Yeah, I understand what they did with the numbers. I just think it's unnecessary. The brain associates better with letters than it does numbers. How often do you hear people say, "oh that shit is D tier?"
You know instantly that it's bad.
But tier 2.5? That's just an arbitrary number that I have no connection with.
@@Bakemer94 let just say they use psychological methods since most of the time human brain can't comprehend the difference between numbers. Call something tier S, A, B, C... is easier to estimate how value the unit are than using decimal numbers, and therefore less impactful. Also idk who behind Prydwen but they just copy pasted the concept from the CN since I have played a game in CN years ago that have the same format of ranking (it went to tier 9 btw, which suck to keep track)
@@Ionic_Glace I see what your saying, they use a worse format to make it harder to tell the difference between characters, so you have to dig deeper into the guide, therefore inflating the amount of time people spend on the site.
Because they’re trying to emphasize how little the gap between each tier is. When people see A and S, they assume the gap is wide when that’s not the case.
the reason why i dont think yinlin will move down after zhezhi release is that yinlin has betetr AOE and her coordinated attacks are tied to her forte not liberation so shes wont worry abt some energy.
Yinlin is top tier in every tier list in the west, really interesting from the perspective of a CN person like myself
Idk about zhezhi’s details, but yinlin’s marks disappear after monsters are killed so you need to get her to apply them again and it takes times and zhezhi just need to activate her ult to get 21 seconds of guaranteed coordinated attacks. The more you invest into zhezhi, the more damage she’s going to deal. Well for yinlin, her damage in aoe is capped by how much hp the monsters have instead of how much damage she deals. For example, if you apply marks then after 13 seconds the enemies in the wave died, you are just missing 5 sec more of her off field coordinated attack damage. If you increase yinlin’s damage by leveling up or better echoes, now you kill the wave in 10 seconds after applying the marks. You are missing even more damage (8seconds) by investing into your yinlin’s damage. The marks DO NOT carry over to the next wave/boss! This made her awkward because the more damage she deals, the less damage she deals. One of many reasons why Yinlin is considered bottom tier where I’m from. Another reason is multipliers. Zhezhi simply has better multipliers from the current version, and even though Yinlin has a strong weapon, zhezhi’s weapon is insane for her as well and it literally just got buffed too. So if they are both S0R1, I think I have a clear preference.
when you are fighting a single target boss with lots of hp, she no longer loses out damage because bosses aren’t usually killed fast, but she now suffers from low multipliers on her coordinated attacks, 2 E skills, and forte heavy attack. Her ult multiplier is fine but nothing crazy. Basically in late game end game she loses aoe damage, in single target her multipliers are low. Her low multipliers are justified by her aoe capabilities but as I’ve discussed when you reach late game you’ll be doing more damage so you won’t be working on a single wave of enemies for more than 18 seconds after you apply the Marks. Yes, applying the marks and getting her forte filled up also takes a ramp up time. So if you add the ramp up time before her forte gets filled and the 18 seconds duration of her marks, it’s like around 25-30 seconds. And if you can’t kill a wave in 25-30 seconds in end game tower of adversity level 90 or 100, you are probably not doing enough damage to full star clear. Basically. My point is her damage is lackluster in single target because her multipliers are low to account for her AOE abilities but then in the late game end game she pretty much always loses damage in aoe, negating her strength. I went into great length because I do not understand why Yinlin is rated so high in the west, it does not make any sense and I’m trying to explain my reasoning of why we deem Yinlin definitely not top tier as detailed and rational as possible
@@FacialFischl that part is like nahida from genshin in which her tri karma mark disappears after enemies die and u reapply it.
in genshin its actually a small con however it still didnt stop nahida from being top tier in worldwide servers.
in terms of multipliers zhezhi is focused on single target and yinlin has wider AOE so i thi k its balanced between both especially with their weapons.
i think in wuwa it doenst matter as much in practice. so i believe yinlin will stay in the meta for very long time, especially since what matters most is clearing waves faster or bosses faster.
I feel like I do a lot more DMG with Changli than Jiyan. But that's my personal opinion
it's normal for you to think that way tbh just saying there's no true dedicated sub dps for changli yet atm meanwhile jiyan with mortefi got buffed alot more so if the jiyan is going with mortefi the diff in dmg rotation is night and day as compared with changli with a makeshift team
@@kayyam9959 that's true and I feel is the same with Jinhsi. Sure Yinlin and Yuanwu work fine but they're not specific made for either Changli nor Jinhsi and I feel like Zhezhi will fix that in both Changli and Jinhsi
Amount of dps per rotation isn't an opinion based things it's pure facts based on numbers although context can be applied like ease of use. Jiyan team does more dps and is easier to use than Chang Li when it comes to numbers + context opinion is invalid
Actually both has about 4000% motion value per rotation so the damage is really similar, you feel that way because Jiyan is ulti dependant and outaside that he doesn't deal any damage, Changli is more versatile and has almost infinity uptime if you want and she can stay on field for more than 10 seconds and Jiyan has a window in that time to deal all the damage he can so if you extend the rotation Changli will deal more damage than Jiyan but the team damage will go down because of that, is better to refresh the buff from supports and start over again
@@-V3rg1L- actually no the real fix for jinhsi is a zhezhi but not glacio buffer but spectro buffer and ofc the sub dps need to have off field dmg too so for me zhezhi is still not the best fit for jinhsi that's just another makeshift team but u can do better because zhezhi has better overall dmg
