No it wasn’t financially smart…but its value is priceless. X Did it cost you anything? Enjoy the beauty and don’t worry about the cost. Yes there are people who are starving and homeless, we need to look after them. Think of all the seamstresses, embroiderers etc..who were able to earn money to live, creating these artworks. You are right, that maximum value should be extracted from them and at the very least they should be on display. Art for the people. XX
