At last, someone pointed out how melody is so important. How many times do we hear musical pieces of incredible technique only to not be able to remember virtually any of them when they're finished.

Exactly, it's like a soul of the music

it's not only his skill technique but also the fresh things he brought.

Absolutely true! Love the clean guitar tone and tapping. Much more difficult without gain. Especially without compression! Love the fact it’s so different. Compositionally it’s so interesting too. Thanks for commenting!

I agree with you in 4:30 that most of the guitarist care only to show their speed and technique without making a flowing melody

Exactly. Sometimes it's very easy to get carried away and lose perspective on what's most important - serving the song.

Personally, I also love his other song Arpeggio, it has such a relaxing vibe I could literally listen to it for hours on end without tiring - which I already did more than once

Ace I will have to check it out! Big fan of his playing style. Guitar playing gets so predictable sometimes. Nice that he has both the composition skill to match the guitar technique. The composition side is nearly always looked over.

Melody. truer words couldn't be said. 2 things on that- take a lot of super talented guitar players that know theory and all that= their music sucks. Satriani, etc- their music isn't very good regardless of how technical it was. Jazz- really high-level jazz only appeals to musicians who play Jazz- sounds like shit to the average listener. This is why the French= Kill Jazz. Their music, though still Jazz= Sounds Good. French Jazz is some of my fav, go listen to a Monk album and tell me what's good about it, besides it being complex?

dude i think that play is a lil bit fake, if he says it was 2 guitars yea maybe it is possible sound like that,
i think he is over edited on the track and speed, its just my opinion

nah man, he cant play shit live.., even an grade schooler prom performance are more interesting than watching ichika nito live..dude doesnt even try atleast play 1 songs atleast 1 of his original composition like what he does in his videos even he got backing track but his guitar tone sounds unmatch and wtf man.. he should have played guitar dj rather than being like this..
imo only polyphia tim henson is the real banger who shows that he can perform his shit with band and backing tracks.. but ichika.. im dissapointed tbh..nobody asked him to play fast bpm music..he cant even nailed a moderate one too. sounds like amature covering ichika nito but ironically it was himself.
