Thank you for the fantastic 993 content. As a new 993 owner (black 1997 4S) embarking on my first journey into the Porsche world, I truly appreciate the wealth of knowledge you are sharing with the community. I have now watched your entire content library and have had a great deal of fun following the trajectory of the various cars in your collection. Being in North Carolina myself, the garages and restoration shops you mention in your videos are particularly relevant to me. Thanks again, and please keep up the excellent work!
Looks like my kind of car! Needing some deferred maintenance, a bit higher mileage, and work I like to do in my shop! Had two 95's. Miss mine a lot! Nice ride Will. Thanks for putting this out man.
I would also delete the ducktail as it’s not period correct and it’s an aftermarket part. The automatic wing is just so cool. Although i’m still a turbo fan.😀✌️
Hey Will, great video and camera work showing exactly what you and your mechanic are referring to. As a fellow 993 owner (mine’s a ‘97 w/52K mi). I just really enjoy your videos & can’t thank you enough. And good shout-out to Darin at FD Motorsports…you won’t meet or do business with a cooler guy! ~ Nick V.
Thank you. No, I’ll be keeping this one. I can’t say for “forever” but it’s exactly what I have been looking for and meets the criteria for what I want in a 993, so it won’t be available anytime soon.
Super nice 993. I'm always attracted to the ones like this that are driven. And I enjoy the upkeep of my 993 so much. Going back to original is the right call, but I do approve of the suspension, shifter and exhaust mods. The stock 993 doesn't look right without suspension mods, and the OEM shifter is too long. And the perfect sound for the 993 100% Fister 2's with Fabspeed Sport X-pipe. I'm also a fan of the NB over the WB. Just looks more balanced IMO. Get this car right and you might have a hard time selling it. Oh one more thing. My car has just over 100,000 miles and one day my AC just stopped. Took it in and found out that a cooling fan blade came off and cut my AC line. Order was to replace the AC lines and cooling fan and fan housing (it also tore up the fan housing). The fan is magnesium and I'm told that material will degrade over time. Might check your fan for small hair line cracks.
I imagine I’ll be keeping this one for awhile to come. It’s just so minty. The driver front fender has been replaced but the rest of the car is highly original.
@@Rennthusiast I have watched most, if not all. I suppose that's true about switching the splitters. You change cars like I - well, I don't change anything that often.😁
Clean but not perfect. I would agree. I’m not surprised by this at all and in fact am oddly ambivalent…I have been down this road before with these cars and it’s just the way it goes. This is a solid, clean, minty 993 worthy of repairing odds and ends over time. Nothing urgent left I don’t think…hopefully 😂 That said I snapped the sunroof cable like a month ago…still haven’t fixed it but will get around to it at some point.
If the clutch is the most serious thing to replace. So far so good. Such a great Model and year. Can’t wait for the Whole review 💯Keep up the good work!
I hear you and maybe the level was too high but I feel it softens the vibe. The vlog vids I watch tend to have this and I rather enjoy the tone it sets.
As a loyalist, indeed, I was waiting for some aircooled content 😊 Super nice to see that you de-mod-ed the car, looks so much better now!

If you paid money for it, you own it
Hopefully they don’t get turned into Singers or other Multi Million Dollar monstrosities 😂
@@stonephilips9361 lol :) 🙃

Such a damn good looking car! I definitely like it with you getting the mods off there.

Yeah the ducktail wasn’t my favorite
Definitely adhere to the factory maintenance schedules...with one exception: Change the oil annually or at half of the specified mileage.

Thank you 🙏🏼
First! 🎉😂 I am shocked as how clean the underneath of your front bumper is : no scratches!
Beautiful.
Nice proper review
Nice to see it on 17s. Bet the steering and general feedback is much better than it was on the 996 18s.
Big time
Looks solid. Rather small amount of routine service work required. Good find! Enjoy it!
Yep. Agreed. This is a fantastic example and exactly what I was looking for to replace my modded 95 993 in polar silver.
Nice looking car for sure. Predicting it will be on the market for sale very soon

Hey Will! For a second I thought the video title meant to send it to die! Love the content brother.
lol I think it would say R.I.P., no? 😂
Where ya at Will? Missing my Saturday morning cardio session videos! Hope you’re well bud.
I usually end up taking a month or 2 off during the winter.
I am interested in your splitters if you have not already sold them
Sweet
ADD, not OCD. Proper maintenance and preventative, while you are in there is not OCD.
I think if you poke through my videos you’ll see why they have said that. But yes, A.D.H.D. too lol

Odd question, but what jacket are you wearing?
I think I snagged it at Brooks Brothers. Can’t recall exactly. Sorry.
Did they plan to service the distributor belt or monitor it?
He should definitely change the distributor belt, and also the power steering belt, which is hidden and hard to get to.
I have a 96 C4 red black if your interested 😊

Thx for the vid but the background music is very distracting
