Ok but imagine this tech with a pokemon go type game!
I remember Microsoft making a Pokémon Go concept with Hololens years back. I hope it becomes a reality. That or Tamogatchi would work really well with mixed reality.
I kind of want Yu-Gi-Oh in MR since the series is all about hologram type duels maybe it will happen with the quest 3

It is a technological marvel, if you loved the Quest 2 you will love the new Quest 3 even more. Today I was working with it on my computer using the passthrough and it is amazing to see a huge screen floating in front of you in your own environment. Obviously it is not yet a 100% perfect product, but technology is advancing at an enormous rate and seeing what it is capable of is incredible. In a few years we are going to go crazy about what these vr headsets will be capable of.

If you get a chance to demo the i vision Apple headset, do it. That thing is AMAZING. It is $3,500, but if you’re loaded, then I’d pull the trigger.

That is a cool game When I was playing the little space invaders intro game (First Encounters) I scanned my living room and it kept on scanning into the kitchen so I just followed the scans and it did my entire first floor (living room, dining room, kitchen, spare room, and entrance). I was blown away. Got a workout running from room to room too, lol.

I tried it right when the update came out and I LOVE IT, the only sad thing is that I had to remove my boundary to be able to run across my whole house, which led to some janky parts, plus the quest 3 can’t scan my whole house without it getting full

What is the size of your Quest 3?. I’m hoping to buy one, and don’t want it too small.
@@RajPatel-rj2ff I have the regular one and I haven’t ran into any storage problems for games its just that the quest 3 cant store that much spatial data without doing some things, I would get the regular one but If you want to get the 500 gigabyte model you can. There both incredibly superior to the quest 2

Does setting up the window when doing the spacial tracking portion make it an actual window so you dont get that inconsistency at 3:10?
11:49 so is there lessons what you could’ve done I would’ve done is you could go in the locker and then wait for the lasers to pass you in the boxes in the middle of the room you could just hide behind those and then you wouldn’t have to run back-and-forth every single time. You don’t have to run between the boxes and the computer

You mentioned that removeing the mr space limit based on initial setup, how do you do that?

That pass through actually looks really good. I don't see much warping like in other videos.
it typically happens when objects are too close to the cameras and are moving. Whether that be a phone, hands, controllers, etc
Nice to know: The voiceover in the game is done by BMFVR.
Not sure whether to get one as I have psvr2 which I’m very happy with and tbh it’s getting better and better
Finally I can move around without having to tiptoe around to avoid hurting myself or others
I for one am so happy that sidequest resolutions still work with it, i can go up to 2560, nice and clear.
Whenever I try to play the MR mode, it'll go to the room setup but then when i hit complete, it get pushed back into the room setup....
Excuse me, how did you record the video in the game? Because when I start the game, as long as the video will appear, there will be a black picture. I can't only see the gun and the enemy in the video, but the background is all black. What should I do? Record it all like you?

Im not able to scan two rooms and the game keeps placing my starting point where I've outlined furniture.
I’m trying to record my mixed reality but when I recorded I got a black screen besides all the digital assets (ex: the windows, my hands, turrets, my gun, enemies, etc.)
How do you turn off the guardian? I only see options to redraw it, or change its sensitivity.
Could you set your recording mode to your right eye? It will make the videos better it’s in the settings.
Im sad i cant get a vr headset but i might get a quest 2 for christmas!
how did you turn off the boundry?? I set up my roomscale boundry for MR, it shows up in game, and then Stuff spawns outside of the guardian circle and when I go to it, I can't cross the guardian boundry circle.
You can turn in off in setting, system, developer settings

2:07 - In the future AI would be able to solve this problem by removing the user's hands in real time on both lenses using AI...we already have AI that knows how to remove objects from images or videos so this should probably even be possible right now but Meta needs to implement it

Do you know how to turn off the boundary? I got a mixed reality horror game called Hauntify but can't figure out how to turn off guardian and play in the whole house.
First you must create a developer account in Meta, and after that, you can deactivate the guardian within the headset configuration options. I always disconnect the guardian system to have even greater immersion, being careful not to suffer any accidents.
Does anyone know why my quest 3 was pass through looks so bad. No matter what lighting it looks horrible. People are all saying theirs looks really good, I think I might have a defective unit
