Sorry, but your reviews are worthless. You're just fueling the hype. Don't you see that the textures look like they're from a 90s C64 8-bit computer? The game has numerous graphic bugs, and it was even visible during your recording, but you chose not to mention it? 90% of the games on Quest 3 are for kids, with average, cartoonish graphics.

They need to have a Quest 3 Pro or a Quest 4 with GPS and 5G/wtv as an option. Then, there needs to be the ability to run "servers" of this, that you can invite your friends to, and you can all "edit reality" on a shared server together, leave each other notes, etc..
This will come. Just a question of time! This will definitely replace our smartphones someday…

@@tinkerduck1373 yeah, and actually ive always wondered why there wasn’t any AR/VR device with all the computing power/4g etc left to a smartphone to let the VR/AR device just stream everything from it… maybe lag problems for now, but maybe someday. Could definitely help with the form factor
@@dafonsecaalexis5355I don't see how they couldn't use a wire and the phone is in your pocket. I think the main reason is that phones are not powerful enough yet, the xr2 gen 2 is faster than the Snapdragon 8 gen 2

We need a game like this but that actually scans the ground materials and renders it in the game so when you clip through the ground it looks like sand, or if ur doing on the sidewalk itll look like concrete, etc
Vro the possibilities of this are infinite. Imagine they create a server where the entire Earth is the playground, and you can see and destroy what other players built there before?
Like if someone else visits that spot where you build that thing, they will see it, omg Minecraft would be the entire earth, like the most massive minecraft server ever
Sounds very similar to Minecraft Earth. Shame it only worked on iPhone and Samsung for the most part. Also very sad the game got shut down.

Reminds me of Minecraft Earth. Also has me hoping modders can "pull a ViveCraft" so to speak and make a mod that puts Minecraft in AR instead of VR! It could work with your other mods you have installed too! Just a blank world with just your irl surroundings but you can place blocks, use items, and spawn mobs all from creative inventory. You could also change game modes after you setup a dungeon or something throughout your house and just run through it! I would love to kill Creepers with a sniper scythe in my basement!!!
if i could visit that same park and see what YOU BUILT a week ago,THAT is what would make it amazing.

cool, but sunlight is pretty dangerous for headsets, especially if they have optics on the outside (pass-thru cameras, etc), even just 10 minutes of direct sunlight can damage the optics

If the game could utilize the depth sensor better even without a boundary I feel it would look more amazing than it already is

It’s kinda funny that when all of us are wearing these, we might actually be more healthy due to more movement etc with all of these VR games rather than sat down
that would be so sweet if any spot could be a live server were more people can see your stuff
And the most interesting thing is that Blockverse seems to convince the people I have shown it so far a lot more about the actual potential usefulness of VR and MR than anything else I have shown them over the years. Because this is where the broders between game and tool begin to blur. All of a sudden they can actually imagine that people would use MR glasses for actual work. They can imagine testing out how a planned interior wall would look in the real rome or how instruction for repairs on, let's say an engine get superimposed over the real object.

Did you try using the quest 3 without facial interface ? you can buy a strap like the bobovr, remove the facial interface and put the headset right in front of your eyes, you can gain like 20 degrees of fov and see real life in the peripheral vision
I tried It. I don't like seeing out of my peripherals. At least not for non mixed reality that's for sure. My room has a lot of light for good pass through and hand tracking so it was painful without the face cover.

Looks very cool, although it's Augmented Reality (AR) and not Virtual Reality (VR), as it's graphics overlayed on top of the real world rather than an entirely artificial virtual world. I'm really impressed; would love to try it. If you can save constructs and share them in real time with others players, it could create an industry bigger than paintball!
Although I think that 'mixed reality' nails it quite nicely, I think.

How is passthrough quality in it outside ?
You are going to fry your device if you aren’t careful. Sunlight can destroy the sensors and lens system.

The only problem with MIneCRaFT Earth was that players were not able to build on the real world freely, being limited to tiny "maps" areas. People should have had the possibility to collaborate with any building anywhere.
How to set guardian area to play outside?
How is yout headset not taking sunlight damage can u not burn the lense while wearing it
Just have to make sure sun doesn’t shine through the inside of the headset while you’re putting it on the outside cameras and sensors are fine
even if it doesn't shine inside there is still damage to it over time but it is very minimal,

Does your pass through look a little grainy in the headset? I would assume it looks so good because of the recording but my pass through looks nothing close to as good as the videos I’ve seen. Anyone else experience this?
Just depends on the lighting of the environment you're doing it in. Outdoors honestly has shown the best results in passthrough quality. But you have to be careful with using your headset outdoors
does this mean that the quest3 wont take damage from being in direct sunlight?
call me coco if i got this wrong, but i strongly remember watching somewhere that you should not play with the quest2 in direct sunlight
It only takes damage if you flip the headset up so the lenses point toward sunlight.
The Display lenses are the only critical ones - afaik.

Just wanted to point out, all the Minecraft verbiage in the title and all your time stamps seems disrespectful to Blockverse, the developers of that game, people are watching probably thinking they can download Minecraft in Meta Store thinking it's the same experience you are having not realizing its Blockverse.

Go into the outdoors and do things like this! They shouldn’t have a boundary at all in mixed reality. It’s so pointless to have one!!
