It draws my attention to the the John Hurt line in the original movie "we are the ones that bump back" and made me think that the Hell boy cosmic was probably more true to that statement, than the movies. The comic's were Much darker and gritty.
While the two movies are visually slick & pretty looking, they're still nowhere near as great as the comics & all its spinoff titles. Hopefully this new movie will be more faithful to the source material than the del Toro flicks.
