Had 5 different r.v.s, and the Casita does look like it's very well built. I would not buy another with a slide, just something that will cause headaches. KEEP IT SIMPLE folks!
Manual Jack will not fail you. Just oil it from time to time. An electric Jack is predictable to fail. For the wet bath room floor, use a perforated rubber mat that can be bought at tractor supply co.
I agree with you, Amigo. The finest RV small home base on wheels. The comfort of home everywhere you want to go. Casita perfection. Might be some of their improvments on the RV come from yours changes/upgrade videos for ideas. Bug screens, head-bump cushions, rounding corners, and more. You earned your referral commission promoting Casitas for sure. I love Casita even more for the way they "preciate ya back." Wishing you many years of swiveling joy and adventure, Amigo. FURTHER ON.
Hello Rusty. I've enjoyed your showing of different trailers as well as your travels. I liked the video where you had bought the vacant lot and talked about staying there in your trailer. Also, I appreciated the video about trailer life concerns as one ages. And, this episode of the newer trailer was informative, too. Enjoy your experiences and thanks for sharing them with us. Keith
Hi Rusty you did a great job in the Casetta showroom with lots of information giving us s full description and advice ....Guess you could always get a job there as a salesman ha ha great job!
FYI: Regular lead acid car batteries haven't needed to have water added to them for at least 30 years now. They do still have caps on the batteries, but that's strictly for venting anymore. They don't come off like the old one's did.
I'm looking at the Casita web site, and when I see the price listed for a new trailer, $21K, I think wow, very reasonable price....but then I notice that things like A/C is an option that costs more, a Microwave is an option that costs more, the awning is an option that costs more, etc, etc....but on the Casita web site, none of the options have prices. How am I supposed to know what to expect to pay for the trailer with no prices listed?
David, actually they do have one. It's their Liberty model. I have the 17 ft deluxe one. They advertise it as being able to be made into 2 twins, 1 full, or 1 king size bed depending on how you arrange the cushions & tabletops. But I set it up as a single bed across the back in front of the rear window which left me so much more walking area. I also had them not put any table posts holes in the floor because I just use 1 or 2 TV trays for a table & then fold them up & put them in the closet when not needed.
I like these fiberglass trailers but the carpeted walls and such is a huge concern. My hubby has allergies and we also have a dog that would travel with us. Its hard enough to vacuum dog hair on the house carpet I would go crazy trying to vacuum walls and a ceiling
How do you like your trailer ? What other trailer were you considering getting, I’ve been shopping for alittle over a year and can’t really find something I like but I’m liking these
Great video presentation of the Casita, you sure know them like the back of your hand! Do they offer a Lithium Battey, if not can you order one without any battery? Lithium offers much more useable power, many more cycles for much longer life and much less weight! Happy Trails...
Rusty I know they always kill the messenger, but you are only 5 foot 8 inches tall!!! As you age you shrink and your feet get bigger! Soon you will be 4 foot 2 inch tall with size 18 shoes Bozo!!! LOL I’m with ya buddy, I use to be 9 feet tall! LOL
Can you get them without the 2nd smaller dinette & without the swivel chairs ?? I'd rather have the floor space. I can always use a folding table & chairs. If you are out camping you don't need to sit indoors as much
I know that you said your Casita is easy to tow, easier than your Jayco. Is that JUST a function of weight, or does aerodynamics help a lot with the Casita?
In the bath, what do u mean it leaks? Do u mean leaks into that compartment or leaks from the outaide in? They are looking better as the years go by but i still hate the carpet on everything. Just put some damn insulation in it and make it a smooth gel coat on the inside like the too expensive Oliver. At least then I could paint it or put my own decoration to it.
Hi Rusty. IAM traveling in my van. I need more room.. looking at Casita. Thanks for the info..Solar with these trailers is great Could you get a Lutium Battery??
I really enjoyed this video rusty..just came across you and now ..i need to see every video you made..id love to be a nomad..this be perfect for me..i just am not up to speed-on how all this works ...but i dream of doing this...i just need the know how..great video rusty!!!!
looking for something very much like this one. Thanks for sharing. I have a Chev Trax so I may need something smaller? Are there a LOT of extra costs to living in a Casita Spirit?
Hi Rusty, I prefer a wood look to keep things looks warm, colours are cold looking. Does Casita have a double window pane option? In Canada here that would really help with the cold. VM
Hi Rusty. For the bed to be left down full time, do you only need the back table to make it a full? Or does it come with another board to make the bed a full? Thank You Rusty!
Hey Rusty!!! Hope all is going great. I am greatly interested in a Casita and there is one for sale near me. It is a 2007 Spirit Deluxe 17ft. It is going for $17k. In your opinion, is that a good price. It is very clean and well taken care of.
Thought we were "gonna do that other one in a minute" LOL! I'm 6'2" and these things are just too small for me and I don't like those wetbaths, I'd feel like I was showering in shit to be honest. I'm sure they're very cozy and yours looks better than this one, the woodgrain is nicer but I would have got a microwave because well it just makes for easy quick meals on the go. I'd like a trailer someday but I don't think I could do the Casita's, just too small for me.
I'm curious about the price. When one buys from a dealer, do they negotiate down the price, or do you have to pay full retail sticker price for a new one?
Wouldn't the cooking smells, oils from frying, aromas, & odors get trapped & accumulate over time in the overhead carpeting? One thing my wife worries about.....
Rusty you all way make mynight go best.i any 73 to day.thank for the 😊 brithday wish, your are agreat fun.i like look at you.god keep blessyou and your son.be happy just as yourok.it 1:48 in OrlandoFl Otwom.
The large dinette in the back converts to the bed. The video--which you apparently didn't watch before commenting--explains all that. Some owners leave the bed up all the time and just use the front dinette for eating or laptop. Others convert to the large dinette for more eating space or having friends in.

Good evening Rusty. I am running this playlist tonight. I do miss your old Kaseeta. It was a great travel trailer.
Very pretty. If I had a truck I would probably buy a Casita. Thank you for showing us the new models.
Rusty, you’re making me fall in love with the casitas!
Hello Rusty. I've enjoyed your showing of different trailers as well as your travels.

I prefer the Casita Independence for a couple. I really dislike the bed set up where ya have to climb over each other to get in and out of bed.
Great review Rusty. Can't wait for you to start doing more reviews when you get settled back in at your home base. Have a great day my friend 👍
I love the Casita tour! Thank you Rusty 😄
The prices are great. Not a big investment
This guy is great! I like his ending remarks....take deep breaths, drink water, etc.
Wow. Look at the new Spirit Deluxe I have a 1997. Just a little different.
I love my Spirit Deluxe, but Casita needs to step it up and start making a 19’ trailer like Escape.
Agree, plus make the headroom better, the current bathroom stinks for headroom.
Thank you Rusty, I'll be stopping for a look/see at the factory when I head to the desert this winter. Love to all, Auntie M
One of these days I'm going to trade in my truck camping set up for one of then puppies!!!!
Thanks for the video
Thanks for showing us the revised model; I love that new grey interior. Welcome back to Texas!
It'd you like a gray interior, I have a LOVELY 1995 VW Eurovan to sell you! Very efficient and compact. Toilet and shower tent included!
If, not it'd!
@@kelliethorne1200 I do love those VW Eurovans! Where is it located? And do you have some photos and info about it online somewhere?
Another very informative video from Captain Rusty!! 👍👍🍺🍺 Cheers!!
Boy, would like like to trade my Forest River Coachman Clipper in. It started falling apart right away.
Hi Rusty you did a great job in the Casetta showroom with lots of information giving us s full description and advice ....Guess you could always get a job there as a salesman ha ha great job!

Been too long since I saw your videos. I really enjoyed this walk through Rusty. Hope all is well with you.
All good
don't know how I missed this one THX
My buddy picks his up from the factory in October. I will have him mention your name for the referral.
Rusty I just love your videos. ❤️ thank you for the tour. 🙏
That was nice Rusty, thank you!😃
Thank you, Rusty, for the great video!
After one week in that bean box with my wife, I would need a Marriage Counselor.
Good Evening Rusty, Thank you for the Casita Tour! 🙏🏼👍🏼😂

That’s great that all the windows open
I'd put a toaster oven instead of micro. You can toast, fry, bake rotisserie. They should offer that option.
Thank you sir for your very honest review of a fine looking trailer.
Someday maybe you could make a video of a Liberty Deluxe.
Casusta needs to reward you!
They should hire you! Then give you a free one to show off
Very nicely done
Hey Bud,
Tell Jonathan that because of you I’ll be showing up one day soon......Swivel, Swivel

We pull a 38’ Newmar with a 2003 Dodge 3500. We got 13.7 on the way to PK this weekend.
Nice, but too pricey. Got a quote the other day. Too bad they discontinued the 13 foot model.
Your manner of speech sort of reminds me of Bill from King of the Hill...
Anyways, nice trailers. Looks properly well made. Pricey though!!
I'd love to see Casita do a floor plan for single people (cot sized bed).
The "Independence" model has 2 twins running lengthwise each side. You could make one the bed, and use the other side as a couch.
I'm pulling the Queen bed out of my 21' Starcraft and putting in a really nice twin. Gives me a lot more space.

@@rvlivingwiththegeezer7791 very smart idea. I used to like larger beds but then realized i limed floor space too.
Rusty , I have been a follower of you for a long time . I wish you would do a review of the Independent model . I trust your remarks. Thanks.
My My how price has gone up. I gave 18,700.00 for my 2014 spirit deluxe
and that included ALL option equipment !
I like these fiberglass trailers but the carpeted walls and such is a huge concern. My hubby has allergies and we also have a dog that would travel with us. Its hard enough to vacuum dog hair on the house carpet I would go crazy trying to vacuum walls and a ceiling

Nice review Rusty. Will you be selling the Casita in your Amazon store.
Howdy Rusty. A 2019 Harley Roadking would cost you over $19,000. Just as a reference.
Hey Rusty! Great video on the Spirit Deluxe. Where did you get the teak wood pallet for your shower?
here's a link to Amazon Product: amzn.to/2LxvfQW
Great review, thank you 👍
I prefer the wood cabinets
oh Rusty.... I need one to be mold free... what do you think? Any water leak issues?

I'm curious about the price. When one buys from a dealer, do they negotiate down the price, or do you have to pay full retail sticker price for a new one?
Did you ever receive an answer to your question? .. We're curious as well..☺️
Whats the difference in spirit deluxe and freedom deluxe?
spirit = bench table seats....freedom = swivel chairs
Amigo buenas tardes cuánto cuesta la nueva casita Spirit de lujo
si, gracias
If I were you I would ask to buy the bench seat & cushions and remove one of your swivel seats and have one of each in your rig...
Nice little trailer but they're not a Fourseason trailer that's the problem
they are 4 season for me...thanks
Do yall do trade ins? I have a 36 ft bumper pull. I want to down size. I built a home. No need for 36 ft anymore?
Do they deliver to canada
? call them...Casita, Rice Tx USA 8004429986
Mr Mackey.. mmkay
I’d need u to teach me how the heck to use it though
What is under the Casita? Are there any lines exposed or can mice get in anywhere??
fiberglass...no mice

special carpet...
