Hi! My name is Kanade Sato. I am 11 years old.
I was listening to the sound of drums of playing by my father in my mother's womb.
And familiar with music in everyday life, longing to father to play happily and began to drum at the age of three.
It was looking forward to playing the drums and father side-by-side two drum sets in the park on weekends.
At the age of five, question in kindergarten "What is your dream ?", I answered "professional drummer!".
And now! My dream is to become a "professional drummer play an active part in all the world".
The music "Drops" is composed for this contest by my father. And I was playing the drums as I feel.
"Drops" is gathered, it flows like a brick, it become a big river at the end. . . It is an image that.

The most astounding thing to me is when she uses her left foot to play the woodblock - in SYNCOPATION with everything else. Most people I know couldn't keep up with JUST playing the woodblock part, let alone playing the rest of the kit at the same time. Simply marvelous, Kanade. Thank you!
This is really amazing, yes. Also when I listen her drum solos, it captured me right from the beginning. Not so when I listen to Gadd solos, or Chambers Solos, or even Phil Collins Solos. She always is thematic. I deeply adore here for that.
