Your correct, first thing i did 0miles was remove 4 axles waterproof "green grease" on all splines , and grease the bearings,so maybe next time will try it
Had this exact same problem with my talon r. Absolutely destroyed stock axles, that I wanted to keep as spares. Not a fun problem to deal with at all, regardless of what machine you got
Let me start by thanking you for leaving a comment and appreciate all interactions you guys bring and ya having a side by side with so much money to put in with comfort and mods and everything you need to add to it needing to replace parts every ride or once a month unless your rich and have a personal Mecanic it really sucks, cause as most men or like I like to call it just older boys with nicer toys, but there’s a limit to what are wallets can afford that’s why I like making videos cause I’m no way rich or ever will be but still doesn’t stop me from working hard to get the toys I want, one toy at a time but I nice to have someone that can save me money and give me the confidence to work on it my self something about installing it yourself that makes the reward that much better when it’s is done sorry for blabbing away thanks for your time and please keep leaving comments, makes me feel like I’m not doing this for nothing, have a wonderful day!
What’s the name of the tool to grease the wheel bearing and where do I find it. Second question, do I just shoot the grease inside from the passenger side to grease the driver side spindle since you said just remove the passenger side rear?
@@Can-AmX3Dude the axle hammer puller I’ve found has a 63mm & 48mm joint fork. I’m sure I’ll have to grind them down like you did but Is either one of these the correct size to pull the axle?
Probably not should be good but would recommend it just to be safe not to pull axle shaft out of the boot if one C clip is being stuck, hopefully not, hope this helps you
Thank you for the video. I just got mine 2022 x3. I'm not even done breaking it in. You think I'll have issues pulling them out? And I haven't went in any water!
This is fricking mad 😮. I have a awd car whit 120k on it 4 seasons lots of winter salt and just change a cv joint like a breeze. And now everybody tell me that my new maverick X3 need to be disassemble at the fourt corners?? Goddam
Ya sorry buddy for the info but rather you know now then like me 4500 km down the road and you can’t get them out and it cost you 2 shaft and the final gear and 2 seals and take out the rear diff and change oil in differential and the shop time happen to Eric in Hearst last year that’s why I did mine and it was too late but got one ☝️ out and was lucky, I’m just trying to save you pain, money and time

triple guard is the best hands down
That is my opinion thanks for the comment greatly appreciated
Anti cease should be used, better then grease. that`s what it`s made for.
We’ll do what you want but I now that stuff washes out and away
But appreciate the comments
Anti cease does not wash out or away. Try to wash it off your hands

Roughly how many miles or hours did you have before they seized?
3000 miles
