Can you go bank and film this again with a drone? You are the only one in the industry who recognizes the impact rail has on the shingle industry. A huge industry for some reason that has been ignored by the model railroad industry!! A big miss. Thx for this video
Hey a Conrail SW1001! Awesome! Those are my favorite switcher model as I grew up in South Jersey with them on the locals all the time. Man do I miss Conrail. Great video. Please post many more of these videos as I sometimes pause the video and use the still to decide where to put decals on my HO models. IT is extremely difficult to find hi res images of SW1001's online and sometimes videos like this are the only way to find what decals go where.
I will keep posting switching videos like this one when I can. I have another one I shot in 4K of two Norfolk Southern black SW1001's switching last year before they were retired. Not sure when I'll upload that though as I have plenty more I'm working on before it. But I appreciate the feedback and am glad the videos help your modeling! Thanks for the comment!
Nice video with a lot of detailed information. Very good, I like this kind of youtube videos. Helps me to understand American Railroads and service better. I hope we can see more of this kind. Best regards.
@@CentralPennRailProductions, well it is the only chance for me to see American Railway action, because Germany is to far away. So thanks for your good videos.
Hi Eric, how've you been? Thanks for commenting! That's right, I do remember that your dad works there. My mom has a cousin that has been there since about the time the plant opened.
Central Penn Rail Productions I’ve been well! Thanks for asking. Hope you are doing well too. It’s interesting to hear my dad talk about how PSR has affected GAF.
The thought put into your videos is apparent & uncommonly good, you take the time to explain the maneuvers- which next to nobody ever does.... Way to go, chief !! 🚬😎 BTW, I just joined the Conrail Historical Society. Have you ever considered doing so ? Seems to me you'd have something to offer them....
I wish they would have, but the ones in this video were all repainted by 2012. 2107 is now on the Plymouth & Lincoln railroad in New Hampshire as PLLX 1590.
Beautiful video just beautiful I'll tell you what I missed the Conrail big time I really love the Conrail nice video keep it up I'm glad to see you have such a librarian can support this👀👀👀😀😀👍👍👍👍
Those two locomotives at the opening scene bounced up and down when they crossed the road junction like a car going over a speed bump. Great video with detailed explanations!
Excellent video and catches! Still kinda wish I had been out railfanning early enough to get the patched Conrail power, especially the Conrail Quality painted engines, before they were all repainted. Still cool to see that people got plenty of videos of them though. Also, appears that 8335 was missing a number board!
I’m still experiencing ‘90s-esk consists like these were I live. SD40-2s, SD60Ms (Triclops, 2 Window), SD60, BN and ATSF painted locos. Including a GP38-2B!
That's because the Y Class was built by Clyde Engineering. Clyde was an EMD contractor that built and designed EMD locomotives for use in Australia and New Zealand.
My only wish is that I can see a conrail locomotive on the rails. Do any of y’all have any places y’all know that could still have one of these engines?
Nice video I love those old conrails with the Leslie horns but I would like to tell you something there is this channel called BNSF 8010 and he is copying some of your videos but anyway great catch with those ex CR units.

Cool video, the camera quality is insanely good
I guess I'm pretty randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to watch new tv shows online ?
@Brian Reginald Lately I have been using Flixzone. Just google for it :)
@Luka Arian Yup, have been watching on flixzone for since april myself :D
@Luka Arian Thank you, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) I appreciate it!
@Brian Reginald you are welcome :D
Fantastic stuff as always. Your camera work is unrivaled imo. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Very nice video. Thanks for posting. My dad has worked there for almost 20 yrs, dating back to when it started as Elk Shingles.

I really enjoy these “archive” videos from you.

They should keep these engines in the old Conrail scheme. Railroads should have multiple heritage units across the different types of locomotives.
I wish they would have, but the ones in this video were all repainted by 2012. 2107 is now on the Plymouth & Lincoln railroad in New Hampshire as PLLX 1590.

Well look at that old Conrail!!
Those two locomotives at the opening scene bounced up and down when they crossed the road junction like a car going over a speed bump. Great video with detailed explanations!
Man, great catch! Just like the good old days
I know, I miss seeing the old Conrail painted locos. Soon 4 axles locomotives will be gone.

Listen to that Dash 8, OMG it sounds So Good!!!
Conrail quality! Long live Conrail!
Road Master might want to check out the huge dip right after that first crossing.
I remember when Conrail owned most of the East coast! Only the best Railfanners get the best action!
- SR 🤓👍
Well that's a shitty opinion...
Nice Catch
Anyone else realise 8335’s front number board is missing.
The contractor I work for is bidding on a large Wireless AP project at the plant. I have been there 1 other time to do some fiber work.
The SW class looks like and australian Frieght Australia or Victorian railways Y CLASS

T'as pas idée de montrer le mec qui descend et manœuvre les aiguilles ?
Thank share
I thought all the Conrail Loco's were all painted NS or retired or scrapped. Apparently not, cool to see.
Looking good
Hi adoro ver as locomotiva do Estados Unidos funciona bem aqui no Brasil presidente brasileiro não dá valor nas ferrovia no Brasil obrigado pelo vídeo
