    All three of these Helix flagship mattress lines offer solid performance across the board. The 12″ Standard Helix is the base-level mattress with the lowest price and basic performance. The 14″ Luxe features more comfort material and better performance.
    Both the Standard Helix and Helix Luxe have the option to upgrade to an advanced cooling cover (like the Helix Elite). The Elite is the top-level mattress by Helix. It has a 16″ mattress height with 7.5″ of that making up the comfort layer and plush, quilted cover.
    The Elite offers exceptional performance, pressure relief, and comfort, but at a price that $850 more than the Luxe and over $1700 more than the standard Helix. The high price of the Helix Elite makes the value far less, but there is no doubt that the Elite does provide incrementally better performance compared to the Helix standard and Luxe lines

    Midnight lux is worth it for sure. I snagged mine for $1600 and it retails for $1800 on sale(now) and +$2k full price. I'm primarily a side sleeper but will combo with back sleeping sometimes. No more lower back pain anymore. Edit: 5'8" @180lbs +-5lbs, athletic. Just be mindful that it's zoned. Middle will be firmer than the flanks. My body seems to gravitate off centerline to the side, as indicated by waking up in the morning on the sides rather than middle. Caveat is, I have really bad ADHD, so I fight ghosts in my sleep. I'm always throwing pillows, kicking the blankets off and on, turning left and right, switching between pillow under legs to kicking it off the bed. But! No backpain! So at least that's one less thing my body has to endure.

      Thank you!
      You'll have to let me know how you like the Elite. Hopefully it's a great fit.

      How do you like it? Is the midnight elite too soft for 6ft, 200lb side sleeper?

      After about 2-3 weeks it’s safe to say I’m happy with my midnight elite.
      I’d recommend the set up being a 2 person job. I don’t recall any off gassing but maybe that’s just me being excited to sleep on it haha, I do have the waterproof cover from helix on it as well. Originally I thought it was definitely on the softer side so I wasn’t too sure how to feel about it but I’ve come to love it. 100% cool to the touch and being a hot sleeper this is a great feature to have. If you and your partner are cuddlers (joined together as one person lol) you can sink a little which can be expected (I’m 6’2, 200lbs and wife is 5’6 150lbs) being predominantly a side sleeper I’d recommend it to others. My wife absolutely loves it and that in itself is more reason for me to be happy with the purchase. If it’s in the budget I’d say go for it. If I really had to find something to change is that I would say I wish it had a little more edge support but otherwise, 10/10!

    At 5:37 you stated if you want a firmer mattress with more sinkage look at the Twilight or a Dawn Elite. Those are both firmer than the Midnight so how would they have more sinkage?

      Oh my apologies...I misspoke. I meant to say "less sinkage".
      Sorry about the confusion.

    If I were mainly concerned with cooling, would upgrading the midnight lux to the Glacier Tex be equivalent to getting the Elite? Thanks, great videos!

    • @NapLabReviews
      @NapLabReviews  2 місяці тому

      In terms of cooling, yes, the Luxe + GlacioTex cover is equivalent to the Elite.

    How would the luxe midnight fair for someone who’s side and stomach sleeping both?

    • @NapLabReviews
      @NapLabReviews  2 місяці тому +1

      It's a great choice for combo sleepers. It has a medium-firm feel, 6 out of 10.
      This put it right in the sweet spot for a vast majority of sleepers and body types.

    Is the midnight better than the saatva classic?

    • @NapLabReviews
      @NapLabReviews  6 місяців тому +4

      Better? No
      Different...the two are very different. Saatva is more of a traditional coil-on-coil mattress. Helix is more of a modern memory foam hybrid.
      While they are both high performance mattresses, they are extremely different in how they feel.

    This would be a great comparison EXCEPT you are showing pictures of the WINKBED NOT the HELIX!!!! Did you really test the Helix? I am dubious.

    • @NapLabReviews
      @NapLabReviews  5 місяців тому +2

      We used a handful of b-roll clips that feature the Winkbed when we're discussing our testing process. We do that on all videos when we're describing our testing process.
      Every other clip and all clips where we are discussing specific Helix testing data we are showing clips of the 3 Helix mattresses.

      @@NapLabReviews i would suggest including a footnote that reads, "FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES". That may help other people not get confused. #mytwocents
