90Hz is the sweetspot
120hz is extra nice and 144 is a waste.
not when you are watching youtube at 60fps, it drops to 30fps
@@alexisaguirrevazquez7900meanwhile 165 hz is an overkill
120Hz is the GOAT. Perfect multiple of 24, 30, 40 and 60 for ultimate compatibility.
@@PetrisonRocha yeah and perfect except for heavy gaming which needs 144 hz
There's no coming back to 60hz when you've been using 120hz for a while.
Idk, evertime I turn 60hz on, opening and scrolling through media feels kinda, ehh
one day and you get used to it again
Was waiting for this one... Thanks buddy 🤩
I have never been sold on higher refresh rates as I do not game on a phone. I have an S20U and by keeping it on 60Hz I get about 2h extra SoT depending on what I am doing so I now keep it on 60Hz and really do not notice much difference; you adapt to whatever your eye gets use to? So when Apple releases the next iPhone with dynamic refresh, I will keep at 60Hz and make the most of the 15% increase in battery size. I do get it, science says the younger you are and those that have used higher refresh will notice the difference more than someone older, so it will be subjective as to your choice? I suspect if I could notice the difference I may also use higher refresh, but as I do not and it makes a massive difference to battery life then it is a no-brainier for me!
I don't game at all and I can't even use a phone without 90 hz minimum without being annoyed
@@thisisayushpandey Yes, it is very subjective and for you 60Hz is now a no-go? Just saying that we have lived with 60Hz for 10 plus years and no one was really bothered about it, so for me it really isn’t close to the hype the YT community claims. Everyone I know has 60Hz and even if I mentioned 90Hz they would think I was a bit of a geek! Again, it is a YT thing and I am glad it works well for you but ad QHD was overhyped a few years ago, the reality may in time be more about expectation than reality?
You may want to keep it on adaptive even though you don't need the high refresh because it could still save battery since it would go under 60Hz at times to save battery
I think it's pretty noticeable when you move from 60 to 90 or 120. 90 to 120 not so much. The experience though, that's way better. The smoother animations make total difference, I enjoy using the phone way more, it feels faster. Yes, we lived 10+ years with only 60, but that's because it was our only option, not because of preference. When I played games on console I didn't mind 30fps because I had never had the experience of a high end PC playing smoothly at 60fps or higher. I was totally missing out. Now I can't go back to 30, just as I can't go back to 60hz on my phone. I'm no doctor, but people who can't see any difference should get their eyes checked.
I find I notice the refresh rate more for scrolling than I do for gaming.
For me 90hz is the sweet spot.
Finally a new video! Good work as always
Detailed video with multiple framerate some of which never get tested. Thank you!
I got 9600mah battery on my phone and still run the display on 60hz mode to save battery 😂 extra smoothness is nice, but rarely worth ir foe me since i watch mostly youtube and read news sites. I do have adaptive 120hz option aswell, but haven't tried it
I would like to see a battery drain test on mobile data instead of wifi?
Really well done man! Good job!🥰
Perfect testing
Underrated content.. Thank u for ur effort
Thank you!
Nice video man! I'm here enjoying my Amoled 120hz display on my Redmi Note 10 Pro! And as i only ocassionally tend to play Brawl Stars or Pókemon on Citra Emulator, the 5020 mah battery does amazing! up to 2 days! 💪🗿 (i could never go back to 60 hz it feels kinda weird and laggy now even though it was the standard just a few years ago!😖)
Same
are you on miui 12 or 13?
It gives you 5hrs in 120hz right?
@@shemaradams561 now i'm on 13
@@PunitRaj The battery runs out after 2 days 😶
Thankyou
Super compare)
thanks
Please do a battery drain test to asus zenfone 8 pls boss pls
Could you do the same for the iPhone 13 pro?
iPhones only has 60hz refresh rate
Trả chênh nhau bao nhiêu nên anh em cứ dùng cái gì nó mượt nhất thôi đừng quan tâm vấn đề pin giờ đều coa sạc nhanh rồi,nên dùng những thứ nó có sao phải lo vấn đề pin tụt nhanh
90 is the best
You should have used pokemon go as it drains battery faster
30min gameplay just 4 percentage drop 😂 its iphone users can’t relate 😢
I dont like more than 60hz because youtube videos seems laggy
