Hey, so you're talking about Hand Drawn 2D animation, these anime series are usually animated on paper then scanned on to the computer and then re traced in a program like Toon Boom Harmony. Then it all gets composited.
•This university is more focused on 3D, if you feel that your passion lies in 2D you need to find a place that accommodates that passion.
