The willful sins spoken of in Hebrews chapter 10 is rejecting the free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
Excellent message. I used to be enslaved in the Lordship salvation heresy. It got to the point where I was about to walk away because I thought, if this is all there is to Christianity, I want nothing to do with it.
Since my dad and my aunt believed once saved, always saved, I decided to research it before making up my mind to completely walk away from Christianity.
I'm so glad I researched it because, once my eyes were opened, I experienced Joy in The Lord I'd never experienced before, my mind was stilled from the fears and repetitious scary thoughts, I could actually feel Peace in my chest, I woke excited about living life, my nails grew out, I wanted to tell everyone about Jesus, I finally understood why the disciples were so excited to spread the good news of Jesus Christ, I understood songs like Amazing Grace, that I'd heard since childhood, in a much profound and deeper way. I _really_ understood it.
I began thinking of The Lord and heavenly things all the time, so much so that my lifelong desire for a husband and children began to diminish. I wasn't afraid of sinning because I was resting in the truth that all my sins have been forgiven by simple faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ. That when I _do_ sin, it doesn't mean I'm not saved. All I need to do is ask The Lord for forgiveness in restoring my walk with Him, not the salvation He gave me.
The truth really DOES set you free.

I try to thank him for having paid for that sin that I committed and I keep going even so, sinning no longer feels the same as when I was an unbeliever, it is now more difficult to sin, at least in my situation, although if I sin a lot, that's not even what , but at least less than before, I do not want my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to punish me or worse than deliver my Flesh to Satan, greetings brothers in Christ Jesus, we will see each other in heaven if not see each other in this world, we will have a lot of time to talk haha

I got saved in 2012, but even then it took me years to finally realize the Gospel of eternal security
I was totally religious for years and gotten saved in the 90s. I was speaking in tongues, water baptized when ever I had gotten to the point I couldn't stand myself any longer, fear of loosing salvation constantly, repenting of my sin, turn from sins, ect. Rolling around on the floor to catch what I thought was the Holy Spirit, while kicking up at the devil, and laughing, slapping, laying on hands, jumping up and down ,getting the devils cast out of me, and the list goes on and on. Then years later, I trusted 1Cor.15:1-4 and hadn't gotten truly saved.
Fethry Duck I’m still struggling with the eternal security part. The more I read the New Testament, it seems over and over that it is a daily process. Please help me understand. This sucks
@@TJs_RV_Deals_RV-NC if there is no eternal security then your salvation is based upon your works. If you think you can lose your salvation you are not trusting in the finished works of Christ. You cannot be saved by Grace (receiving something you don't deserve) through Faith (believing that Christ suffered the punishment for your sins past, present, and FUTURE sins) and trust in your works at the same time. If you continue in sin you will be chastised in this life but your soul is still saved. You will not receive a eternal punishment but you will receive a punishment while in this life. Once you are a child of God there is nothing that can change that.

The people who look to fruit as a “conformation” of salvation, are saying to “look to your own righteousness as confirmation that you have God’s righteousness”. That is totally ludicrous. I look to Jesus! It is through His sacrifice that we put on God’s righteousness! He makes us acceptable in the Fathers eyes!

@@johna6838 I went through that brother, it lasted about 2 weeks, I was becoming arrogant, I was moving away from the world, typical lordship, I wanted my works to reflect my salvation even when I had faith in the sacrifice of Jesus for my salvation and I was aware that he saved me, I was moving away from everything by force and falsely and I began to doubt and asked for my salvation about 10 times because I felt that I had asked for it wrong and everything went downhill until I asked myself, why I have to ask or do something if it is a gift, and that was works, until a brother in the comments of another video God bless him how he helped me sent me here and boy since then my faith has been strengthened and my salvation although already I had achieved it from the moment I thought I doubted those fruit seekers, they all went through that brother, I think it must be one of the many tests in the Christian's life and more will come, but we have the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on our side and we have the v Eternal life assured, Jesus Christ bless you brothers

I'm amazed how many Christians new or old will still think salvation can be lost and if they sing after the get saved they will go to he'll? Does anybody believe the gospel anymore

Few have ever believed the true gospel! As Jesus said few would find the narrow gate, which is Christ himself! Most travel the broad road, which is every other path! It also said the way is difficult, and it seems that having faith is very difficult for most!
It's too difficult a concept for most people to grasp! They just can't accept they are saved without thinking they have to do their part! Pride and arrogance are the reasons people do not find Jesus, they want to be their own god and be in control of their own lives!

@@kyleharbin3083 if you read the original translation of that verse, it actually never describes the narrow path being "difficult." Only some translations take the liberty of adding the word "hard" or "difficult." The KJV also never mentions those words. Just something to think about

Best preacher on salvation I ever heard
I found Pastor Yankee through Pastor Thomas Cucuzza of Northland Bible Baptist Church and through Pastor Jesse Martinez of Calvary Community Church in Tampa. I love eternal security and how it is the gospel. The family member who led me to the Lord thinks a person can walk away from eternal life, and that if a person doesn’t live right, that person might not be saved. I told that family member that I want to obey because of what He did for me, and because I love Him. We have had long discussions about the topic, but my family member says that we will never agree. It is sad that if we don’t agree, we don’t have the same gospel because said family member is putting works on the back end of salvation. Please pray for my family member. Be blessed.💕🙏🏻
We are in the same boat but for me it is the issue of family members.
2nd timothy 2:13 is one of my favorite verses. I love that I can lose my mind, have doubt, get carried away with false doctrine and not lose my salvation. I never want to do those things but it just proves that salvation isnt mine to keep. It truly keeps the burden of it all on Jesus. His yoke is easy and his burden is light.

That's why I get up in the morning with a purpose, to study the Word to show myself approved and not ashamed, because to persuade I have to counterarguing with confidence, we can still save some souls, you don't realize, you have the ability to give life eternal, every time I think about it it seems so unreal, but at the same time I know that for the Lord everything is possible, to give eternal life just by believing, only God in his mercy could give that for free

Those fruit inspectors can't discern between a basket of apples and an apple tree. If it's about "fruit", then Gandhi or an atheist doctor who gives his entire life to medicine to be "saved".

I used to be a fruit inspector. Sometimes the old inspector rears his ugly head and i have to quench it.

We will be chastened by the Lord, but He will never leave us or forsake us. Hebrews 13:5. John 6:37-39. Jesus has never lost one. Ephesians 1:13-14. Our guarantee of eternal life. Ephesians 4:30. And grieve not the Holy Spirit in whom ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. If we keep the faith we will have a reward in heaven. If we lose our faith we are still saved but loose the reward. First Corinthians 3:11-21.

People was telling me I was different from the get go. I was saying..really? How? They would tell me..its like your a totally different person. I was. But I didnt try to be that..it just became me..the Fruits of the Spirit being in me. I had no idea what had all happened to me growing up atheist and not knowing the Bible. This was all tripping me out. Now that I know, I'm secure in the fact that I was actually born again

Fruit inspectors come from Roman Catholic (RC) mindset. Please refer/check to RC believers, I assure you they will agree with fruit inspectors.

It might be a good idea to tell the people they don't have to raise their hand if they don't want to for whatever reason. They're saved by just believing the gospel.

I’m thankful for conversion experiences but I’m not looking back at those as assurance of my salvation. I’m trusting in Christ now for my salvation and thankful I’m not the same person I used to be. I’m thankful for new desires and repent when I don’t live in accordance with Gods word. The apostle Paul names people who have left the faith. He saw their works and that they do not remain pursuing Christ

I can not tell you how many Christians I come across that don't understand faith. I am often ridiculed for double-checking someone's salvation but 99/100 a person says they are a Christian yet don't believe its faith alone. I have walked 36 years on this earth, I know its not that long, but I have yet to have someone check my Gospel. I ask that you make sure that your friends and family understand faith and grace. Yes the could be saved, yes they could of believed before but forgot, but its not worth it to not check. Blessings
One of my best friends is a Calvinist fruit inspector and now I think he believes I'm not saved because I don't go to church and volunteer like he does. He doesn't say I'm not saved but how can he think I am?
I dont want to go to a false church and most churches are false.
I want to get more knowledge, grab a few other people and go to these churches to tell them THEY ARE WRONG!!!
The longer someone has been believing wrong and backs these false beliefs up with Bible misinterpretations or false bibles, the harder it seems it is to even get them to consider an alternate view.
Calvinism teaches so many strange things. Why would they even THINK they are elect? I'm going to look that up right now.

We should go to church, we should do right, but we must not forget we do good to please God and not to stay saved. That's the issue with Calvinism, " if you were really saved you would stop sinning" that is flat out works. Calvinism is based on feelings and not the Word of God. Show your friend Jonah 3-10 and prove to him turning from sin is works. Use the word with him, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Blessings
@@Historyprepares I fell into that trap. I misunderstood the Bible plus listening to Calvinists. I didn't even know what they were until very recently and I didn't know most of professed Christianity is WRONG and listening to these (repent of sins-for salvation people)
Every day I was like " well, I lost my salvation again, because I do that ( whatever sin the Bible reference)
It took my s few months and I believe God opened Grace, Insight, and Art on my phone because I kept Googling about (do I have to try to stop sinning to be saved)? Calvinists believe they are saved whether they want to be saved or not. It's some of the most bizarre "cultish" stuff I've ever heard. They believe God is controlling them and everything else in the universe 100%. I pray I can get through to him. His pastor lives right across the street from me and hasn't even looked in my direction since I told him (someone has to tell Catholics they are a false religion. ) Now I see why. They don't think it would make any difference and they are basically Catholics in disguise. I'm afraid for all who deny Jesus.

Some people equate eternal security with it is ok living like the devil. Let me tell you if you are saved you are capable of living a less than "moral" life. You will be chastised and be pretty miserable. But do not drown out the holy spirits conviction because it will be to your detriment.

I love it when he preaches in John chapter 15 and when he gets to verse 6b he stops and goes into his good old boy routine and completely skips ".. and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned" - John 15:6b. Oh but those burnt branches still have salvation!
Yes, fire there is not hell. Jesus is talking to his already saved disciples....Now ye are clean by the words I have spoken....
Fire is showing us that those saved who don't abide in Christ are "useless" (not fruitful) and would be set aside.

Guess that means they loose their influence there too.
These people have ZERO clue as to what faith is and even less of an idea what it means to believe, no they think salvation is a reward for a prayer and have no idea that they are saved at the end, at the judgement... just like Jesus said when he described separating the sheep from the goats.

[6]If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and MEN gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
If it were talking about hell fire, would it be MEN doing the gathering or ANGELS?
Read the parable of the Wheat and Tares and learn the difference. The Tares (Unbelievers) are gathered by ANGELS not MEN and thrown into the lake of fire.
Again in this same chapter, John 15, you COMPLETELY ignore the statement

[3]NOW YE ARE CLEAN THROUGH THE WORD WHICH I HAVE SPOKEN UNTO YOU.
You fruit inspectors ARE the authors of confusion. Jesus said we are clean. You say, oh no you are not.
YOU are the agents, plants, and Pharisees. Clouds without water. You had better repent of your unbelief and put your trust in Christ and Him alone.
Sounds like some people are still trying to be justified by the law and calling that faith.
Galations 2:16 sais "by the works of the law No Flesh will be justified".
That passage in Matthew was quoted by John the baptist who taught under the law of Moses.
The new testament was not instituted until the perfect one (Jesus Christ) shed his blood.
The many that say Lord Lord point to their works (turning from sin and serving God as grounds for eternal life) Those will be rejected for not obeying the truth. Christs work WAS sufficient, IS sufficient, ALWAYS will be sufficient! Bless His righteous name!
I sure wish you would do a message about the group that says water baptized people are the only ones saved. I know you could tackle that. It would have to be explained in a way for the person would understand mark 16:16. This is the verse they use.
That's not true sister... The thief on the cross wasn't baptized & Yahshuah/Jesus told him that he would be in paradise with Him for believing. Some people are not able to be full dunk baptized. I didn't until I was much older bc my church baptism was in the river and I didn't know how to swim, but I have no doubt, had I died before I was baptized in a pool, that I would definitely go to heaven, to be with our Lord. Karen what isn't true? I hope you are not saying that Mark 16:16 isn't true. The thief on the cross was saved under the Old Testament law and by the words of Christ. While Jesus was on the Earth He had the power to forgive sins. Baptism is for pennant believers as Acts 2:38 teaches. Baptism is part of God's New Testament plan. It only applies to those of us who live this side of the cross and the resurrection. It does not apply to those who lived before the cross and the resurrection. Never deny the Word of God because you do not understand it.

I have to say we are never all gonna agree completely, but when you say that you can just go live a life of sin and be saved that's not what the scripture says. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ not of works but he also commands us to obey his commanments. I heard a lot of things in this sermon that I totally disagree with. And I heard a few things that I agree with. I would say all of us need to read the full scripture not cherry pick a few. It's very important to read the scripture in context. God said test the spirits to see if they are truly of him.That's where the fruit inspectors came from.We just use the word fruit inspector. I'm confused, are you teaching OSAS? Saved by grace? All I know is I am saved & every day, all the day long, I am praying, asking forgiveness, everything that is brought to my mind. Are you saying I don't need to do this? (It is at times, exhausting & it feels like I'm "fear praying" 😑). I've been saved a long time & now I am rethinking every thing I've learned.

1) That scripture "pray that you are worthy to escape these things," which is from Luke 21:36 is directed to the church. Keep in mind in that chapter Jesus is talking about things that are to come like the destruction of the temple for example. That very scripture, had you finished the sentence, says "pray that you are worthy to escape these things THAT SHALL COME TO PASS."
2) Let's say I have a conviction to not have tattoos and another believer does not consider tattoos to be sinful. I am convicted it is sinful and would not edify me or the body of Christ. It may not be sin for the other person for whatever reason they may have. The question would be who is the spiritually mature/ strong and who is immature/weak. Let us say that the person who believes tattoos is ok is the mature one and he knows that I am convicted in my heart it is wrong. If he goes and gets one would he be acting in love towards me? I think not.
Now if I am the mature one and the one who believes tattoos are ok is the immature one should I judge him if he gets a tattoo? I would advise them not to, but I would not judge them for it and call them a sinner because he believes it is right. As the mature person I must be the example and hope in Jesus Christ that he will be convicted by the Holy Spirit because when he is convicted he now knows it is a sin by revelation.

Chapter 16
Examine yourself
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith, prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates” (2 Cor 13:5).
Often this verse is used by the religious to have a person examine his or her self to determine whether he or she is a “real” Christian. Are you doing works, sinning less, going to church, tithing, partaking in sacraments, etc? Are you performing these things? If not, the religious will proclaim, “You are probably not a real Christian.” You know, because the religious are superior to all other sinners. They have “proved” their faith. “Look at this wonderful fruit coming from me.” However, in reality, the scriptures prove a person’s salvation. It is not by works we do (Titus 3:5). If salvation is not of ourselves, according to Eph 2:8,9, then why should we examine ourselves to see if one is saved? We shouldn’t. What then, is this passage telling us? It is quite simple actually. We need to go back a few verses and look at the context. What you will see is this: these saved Corinthians were questioning Paul’s apostleship. Go back a few verses.
“…since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you ward is not weak, but is mighty in you” (2 Cor 13:3).
These saved people were looking for proof of Paul’s apostleship. As a result, Paul was pretty much saying, “You seek proof of my apostleship. You want to examine me? You need to examine yourself to see if you are in the faith.” This was a simple tit for tat. Notice Paul ends this very short “spat” in the very next verse. “But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates” (2 Cor 13:6). The sequence of verses is pretty straight forward.
1. They questioned Paul’s apostleship.
2. Paul said they should examine themselves to see if they were reprobates.
3. Paul immediately follows that by stating, “But I trust that ye shall know, that we are not reprobates.”
Paul never told them to “examine” themselves to see if they were really saved. We already have seen that things we do don’t prove salvation (chapter on fruit-inspectors). If Paul wanted them to really examine themselves, wouldn’t he quickly give us a list to look at to determine our salvation? He would, but there is no criteria given in this chapter. As a result, we can conclude that the religious twist this passage to fit their “works for salvation” doctrine.
If you are “examining” yourself for evidence to prove you are saved, stop it! It is very dangerous to do so. Peter was walking on water. When he started to examine himself and his surroundings, he sank. Examine yourself to see if you are living the Christian life that you should be living that is pleasing to God? YES. Simply keep reading in this passage. Examine yourself to see if you are a “real” Christian? NO. When it comes to salvation from hell, the only thing one needs to examine is his or her faith. Is your faith really in Jesus (God’s only Son; God in the flesh)? Have you believed the gospel, that Jesus died for all your sins and rose again? Do you believe that all your sins were dealt with (paid) at the cross and you have no sins left to send you to hell? If so, there is no need to examine yourself for salvation.

I look at Ophrah and all the New Age Churches out there that say they are Christian because they said they trust the Lord for salvation. Look at JWs or Mormons or Seventh Day Adventists! They might say they are saved and yet they preach a totally false gospel. I watched Paul Washer's testimony and it sounds to me like he accepted Christ as his savior. But there he is teaching Lordship Salvation. Please someone from BBN church reply!
I heard the question once does our future state (in heaven) depend on our stewardship in this life? the free grace answer is "NO" I think the Bible makes a case that the answer is definitely No. But why then do so many Christians feel they have a right to live wickedly? Why can they get drunk on weekends, say they love the things of this world, do yoga, meditation, and even practice a totally depraved lifestyle and yet still go to heaven?
Hey Bryan. I can see the anguish in your comment, and I empathize with you. People continue to live worldly after they are saved because of their sin nature. A person who is saved is "born again" and given a new nature. However, the old nature is still alive. These two fight each other CONSTANTLY. They are diametrically opposed to one another. @@jsure8786 In Romans chapter 7 the word Law is used I believe 21 times. the entire chapter is dealing with a person trying to live for God under the Law and then struggling with not being able to. You will notice that Paul says that there is deliverance from this body of death, that deliverance is through Jesus Christ. If you and others believe that Paul is saying he has no control over the flesh then you should get rid of Romans chapter 6 in your Bible. Romans 6 clearly teaches that we who have been saved do have control over the flesh because we are not under the law. We are not two natures living in one body. We are one nature born again from God. Yes we struggle with the flesh we have taught it well to sin, it takes work to change those habits. However Yankee's teaching that the old man sins and the new man does not is not found anywhere in scripture. Thank you for your reply.

Who is "I" in verse 20?......"I" is the new birth. The "new man" absolutely cannot sin. What does the sin dwell in in verse 20? It dwells "in me". Inside the flesh. The flesh is the old man.

Paul isnt evangelizing in Ephesians 4:22-24. He's encouraging his brothers and sisters in christ to live a victorious life.

He moves on to 1 Corinthians chapter 11 and makes perhaps the most absurd claim I've ever heard that directly contradicts our Lord Jesus Christ's teaching concerning the fruit manifest in believers. He says "I don't have to have the fruit". Really? Wow. Here's what our Lord Jesus Christ says about the matter.
"And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire." - Luke 3:9
That verse is referring to the nation of Israel. I cut them down because most of them rejected Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the gospel was taken to the gentiles.
1 Corinthians 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
14 If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Then in 1 Corinthians chapter 9 he preaches from verses 24-27 and engages in eisegesis when (where he gets this is bewildering as the passage teaches no such thing); he says "so can you be in the race, you can even be serving the Lord, and not do a thing that God wants you to do". Really? Is that what this passage really teaches? I think not. The passage speaks of an ''imperishable crown' which can be nothing other than eternal life. This is no game in which you get a 'perishable crown', a wreath on your head, a trophy or trinket to hang on the wall or put on your dresser at home! Paul is talking about eternal life no less! The apostle affirms he is speaking of something more than a gift or reward outside of salvation itself elsewhere as in Phil 3:14 where he says "I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus".

I’m a fan of Yankee, but the more I read the scriptures, I find it to say that you can lose your salvation. God doesn’t take it from you and promises no one can, but none of those verses include yourself. I wish I didn’t believe this way but I’ve been praying and seeking God on the matter and it seems very clear throughout the New Testiment that if we don’t live in Christ daily in repentance we are lukewarm and the Father spits is out. So many verses in Hebrews, Romans, Peter, John, Corinthians, etc. I’m having difficulty on this issue and it’s making me sick daily. Someone please help!

if you realize he is speaking to the Church since he begins by calling them brothers, and they are brothers because they are saved and he asked them to give their lives to the Lord (which is what God wants), but you have free will after being saved from do what you want, you will notice that the majority of Christians do not give their lives for the Lord and even so they will be saved, although not fruitful, once saved always saved, Lordship is a very dangerous doctrine and that is why it warns it says in Ephesians 2 8 -9 ephesians 2 8 For by grace are you saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God; 9 Not by works, so that no one can boast.

1. the narrow way is not how you live....the narrow way is Jesus alone....Jesus said, I am the gate, BY ME if any man enter in.... Are you trying to enter in through Jesus OR by another gate (your works)?
2. The parable of the virgins - does NOT apply to the church. Go back to Matt 24:29 - immediately AFTER the tribulation. Second, these are bridesmaids, NOT THE BRIDE, the bride has an automatic invite to the wedding.
3. yes- faith alone. faith in whom Jesus was (Gods only Son;GOD in the flesh) and the gospel (that he died for your sins and rose again). No works - Eph 2:8-9, Rom 3:27-28, Titus 3:5. Rom 11:6 and Rom 4:2-7).

Receiving Jesus Christ is not the same as we received a diamond ring! Not like once time thing but The bible say we be adopted in God family meaning have relationship with God through Christ but that relationship must continue on , remember we call Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Using your logic we can see a flaw in this talk about a relationship "continuing on". I say this so you can understand. If my earthly father and I never communicated with one another we would certainly have a poor if not non-existent relationship. Does it change the fact that he is still my father? No, it changes how we fellowship. Its the same way with God. We will have a terrible time of fellowship, lose rewards, and possibly lose time here on earth. We will never lose our salvation. If we had to upkeep our salvation then that means Jesus lied when He cried "Its is finished!".
When a person believes that Jesus Christ died for their sins and rose again the Bible says they are saved. They are adopted into the family of God. Now, if they decide not to serve God, fall away, and live a wicked life, they cannot be lost again. That would imply a couple of things. Most importantly, it would say that a believer can undo salvation themselves. John 10:28-30 shows how we are kept from returning under the condemnation of sin. Also Romans 8:34-35 clears this up.
