Been there for 5x already and still can't get enough of everything in Akihabara...... Heaven on Earth..... I even tried Denden town ( smaller version of Akihabara ) in Osaka.
I’m Japanese who nearly lived in Akihabara. I have seen so many foreigners and I’m realized Anime is really loved by all over the world. Akihabara is place which just like a heaven for people who love anime, and you can get fresh experience even people who aren’t interested in anime cultures. So many unique things and scenery in there ! So many products, so many events, so many anime cafe , so many food… And if you love Vtuber, sometimes you may walk passed by the person who is familiar to hear the voice ..huh?😮
I miss living in Japan, eventually I'll be back to live there again. On a side note, I spent so much in Akihabara before flying back. There was just something I wanted at every store I visited, the 2nd hand stores are a treasure trove. I was able to find anime goodies from years ago that I wanted but I missed out on buying.

Even in Tokyo, Akihabara is like a Disneyland of sorts, a space so different that there are moments when you step into it and feel as if the world has changed. It is one of the few areas in Japan where a pedestrian paradise is established, and is open only on Sundays. The pedestrian paradise is a large main road in Akihabara that is closed to all traffic, allowing pedestrians to freely come and go along the many lanes of this large urban street. This is a place where people who would be treated as freaks if they did so in a normal place can expose their hobbies and tastes and wear cosplay and anime goods and still be considered natural, as if they were cosplaying Mickey or Minnie in Disneyland. In a sense, it is a place where anime lovers can enjoy a very exciting daily life, and a town that feels strange and different from reality, even though it is reality.
Hello from Massachusetts, USA! One thing I really admire about Japan is how clean everything looks, and I love seeing smaller shops close to each other. I am fortunate I live in a place where I can walk anywhere and I can take the train. But majority of places in USA can only be reached by car. The vending machines being available in almost every corner looks really nice, I wish I can buy a drink anywhere, if I want to buy a drink it's in the store or go inside a restaurant, so I usually carry a drink with me. Most of all, I enjoy anime/video games and VTuber stuff so it's cool to see lots of anime and gaming/tech being advertised there in colorful ads and posters. I enjoyed the video!
The music that you hear at the train station is what plays before important train announcements. If you were to ride an overnight train in Japan, one of the issues you are going to have to deal with is that long tune before loud announcement being played across the train at all hours every time they stop etc. The piano you hear is just a machine that was close by and loud af. A LOT of the cleanliness also comes down to one lifestyle habit that is an unspoken culture rule. Look around at all of the people and look at their hands. Do you notice the difference between Japanese people and most other cultures? Japanese people don't eat or drink things while walking, so they either eat whatever they buy immediately(next to a trash can) or hold onto it until they reach their intended destination(which will have a trash can). That simple lifestyle habit eliminates the "throw it down while walking as I finish it" entirely, which in turn cuts down the littering a massive amount. Most people who litter are willing to use a trash can instead, but they are too lazy to seek them out or hold onto their garbage.
Living in my small town from the United States and being able to see this over UA-cam is amazing, someday I would love to visit Japan.
