- Review of the 2021 World of Halo 3.75" Inch vehicle Mantis with Spartan EVA figure from Jazwares.
The Mantis came boxed as part of Series 3 World of Halo scale action figure line in 2021. Mantis came with the vehicle driver, Spartan EVA. Some assembly was required to attach the leg portion to the head portion. The box contained the Mantis vehicle, Spartan EVA figure, and a shotgun.
The figure and vehicle are based on the upcoming game Halo Infinite.
This channel looks at action figures from an adult point of view and is aimed at adult action figure collectors.

Sheesh, I had the exact same issue trying to arrange the arms! Figured I'd check UA-cam before I broke mine, so thanks for the review. Now that it's together I am loving it, got it in a JoyToy base with figs in and around, it's quite imposing looking!

I have one of these and I think it's amazing- particularly for just $40!
If I had the old Star Wars AT-ST, I'd be tempted to use a Mantis lower body and attach the two weapons pods directly to the sides of the AT-ST cockpit box.
Paint it all dark grey and white, you'd have an impressive scout walker!
The Mantis pilot has become one of my favorite Spartans- though I replaced the knife on his chest with one from Marauder's Task Force so the blade is removable.
Nice! That vehicle custom sounds awesome. Also swapping out the knife is a great idea.
Your missile launcher is facing aft. Great video thanks for the arm rotation knowledge. I was too scared to break mine after I heard all the cracks so I never figured it out fully until now.
I think the pegs on top are there to recreate the high jacking pose.
Another excellent video and review. I had the same problem with the Mantis arms. Thank you for showing us how it should really be done. The EVA figure is my particular favourite HALO figure. 16:25

Aha! You just gave me some ideas for modifications! Probably add some decals for details and a bit of dark brown panel lining

This is the coolest Halo Vehicle so far. I did pick one up. I am all about combining The Fortnight, Gi Joes, and Halo figures in a huge crossover actin figure-verse. The Mantis Walker is my Gi Joes secret weapon. Even my lady thought that this Walker look cool , so yeah. I am a New subscriber and a like to you sir.

I think this is Awesome!
Just got one of these and it is massive! Bigger than any of my Gundam model kits! My only gripe is the legs. Regardless I'm still satisfied for it's size. Time to bring it on road trips and take photos of it.

I just got mine and the figure is awesome, but the bottom portion of both knee joints are insanely stiff. I haven’t been able to move them. I tried running it under hot water and still nothing. I think I’ll try some silicone oil. Other than that, any suggestions? I’m afraid if I force it the leg will snap off. Or the ankle.
I need this ive been looking and haven't found it yet lol only thing I found was a 3 pack with active camo chief and 2 brutes not sure of their names as of yet till it arrives this Saturday. I'm really excited for this figure and vehicle though best thing they've made in my opinion so far.
It's definitely a Mecha figure for sure. Kind of reminds me on the Joy Toys Mecha's. The 3.75 figure looks really good. Still haven't been able to hit the stores like I'd like. Looking forward to the 6" wave 3 guys. Another great review Mac! 🤙🤙😎

That looks so much better than my Vintage Collection AT-ST I bought several years ago. That thing is a dead chicken. You look at it and it'll collapse under it's own weight. That toy you got right there looks way sturdier.

I was having that same issue with the arms! The ammo belt on my fig's rotary canon didn't get placed in the "sandwitch" either so idk. It's still pretty awesome for the price!

Do you think Jazwares would make the halo mastodon ?
Same issue I had. Turning arms the correct way thinking I will break it. Had to look at box art. Legs are CLUNKY, have to keep positioning to balance to stay up. My set left leg foot bottom slightly turned inwards QC issue so does not sit flat on ground.
Looks good in pose, but CLUNKY unstable legs is the negative need future upgrading. And kids will definitely break off the arms trying to figure out the rotation.
Legs pop out easily on my figure, although a good looking figure. Would have been better if it was a clear helmet to see face- helmet that comes off.

I agree about the legs. Having spent some time with this Mech, I am nervous to put it on a shelf and walk away. Its very shaky.

I just noticed that if you look at the product pictures for this toy on Target's website, they don't even have the arms positioned properly. Why did they make it so difficult to figure out how to pose this??
I have no idea. It seems more difficult than it should. Also, it seems easy to break because of it.

I picked that sucker up, seems like Jazwares has some QC issues (the front of mine has gaps that are awful)....
It is a very cool mech, but I tend to agree. It makes little crack noises as I wiggle it around. They make me nervous.

Strange that it's a Halo Infinite set, but has a reach shotgun... Maybe 343 changed their minds
What i was thinking! In the recent Mega Construx Razorback Blitz set, Spartan Kelly-087 has the M45 shotgun. Which is weird considering 343 said it wont be at launch. At the same time, without that classic shotgun that Kelly has been known to use for over a decade, what will she use then? Perhaps they really did change their mind. However, do remember that these are just toys, and they can have their own liberties in production
@@deagle.2 yeah, and the mega construx line already takes lots of liberties, but this would be the first time the Jazwares line has. Very odd that the first Halo reach thing would be a random shotgun.

Wait I think you have the left arm backwards I think you have to trun the gun on the left arm
I followed the instructions. If it is flipped around then the gun bumps the body to much and has less movement.

Well that shotgun also comes with the $19.99 Emile figure and my Mantis kinda snapped on me one of the arms snapped on me but I taped the arm back together so it still works and I got the mantis for chirsmas
Sorry to hear about your Mantis, but glad the tape worked. Yeah, its a bit creaky. Mine always feels on the verge of snapping.

I am 95% new to Halo. 😀 Before buying these figures I knew of the franchise, watched Red Vs. Blue, but never played a game. These figures were just too cool looking to pass up. I have since played about 50% of the Halo 1.

Yeah your figure is alright my figures legs are screwed see how your legs point out. My right leg is tilted inwards. So I hav a bad batch. But yeah it cost us like $80 Aud suprised it cost you around close to $50 Aud in the US.

Memphis needs many more regular paint apps, some weathering paint apps, and better stability. Pass. I've already got a chicken Walker from star wars.

McFarlane Avatar line has the Amp Suit mech for about $40. It’s really cool and I think is better than this mech. Might need to do a comparison video.

They are Spartans. In Lore ate a young age, on average, they perform like any Olympic Athlete and the suit enhances that. So can they do the splits? Yes. Absolutely.
