- Review of the 2020 Halo vehicle Warthog from Wicked Cool Toys.
Warthog came boxed as part of the Series 1 Halo action figures in 2020. Warthog came with vehicles driver, Master Chief, and needed some assembly. The box contained the Warthog body, 4 rubber wheels, 1 machine gun turret, 4 gas cans, 1 ammo belt, 1 antenna, and 1 set of instructions. Master Chief came with an Assault Rifle.
The figure is based on the upcoming game Halo Infinite.

Hey man, thank you for all of these reviews, you have been the main driving (see what I did there?) force for me to pick these guys up. I got my Warthog yesterday, as of this comment, and it is awesome! (As are the others I have gotten thus far) I can't wait to get the rest of the figures from this wave, and for more to release! Keep up the good work, dude!
Thank you so much. I am glad it has been helpful. This 4" line is really pretty awesome. It has its problems here and there, but have no doubt it will improve quickly with the next wave/series.
That's much cooler than the Cobra Hiss Tank in my opinion
Jaydon Williams .. I disagree.. see this is a GenX Vs Millennials type of feeling. I’m not saying that in a bad way .. but millennials grew up with Halo ( we GenXers) played but didn’t have that connection. Now if you separate the 2 eras and look at by stats .. The HISS tank has been around since 1983 .. as I showcased in my recent video it is almost on par with x-wing in terms of brand/ franchise recognition. The warthog is soo close but longevity HISS wins. Think about it HISS has been released off and on since 1983 to 2020 ..
@@new2vero2 I collected all the vehicles and figures when I was 5. My shelf was full of Gi Joe's from the mids 80s and early 90s. Like I can see where you disagree and that's fine. It's just personal preference. Cuz the Warthog can 3 or 4 Joe's while hiss can fit 1 or 2. Like the Hiss Tank is good but I love the vehicles were you can fit like 5 or 6 Gi Joe's at once. Plus, didnt they have a Cobra Fighter that can fit about 2 dudes on it?
I am really into vehicles that can hold a bunch of figures. I really like the Battle Wagon, the Hammer, and the Shark 9000 for that reason.
Awesome Video! I'm super excited to get these. I also really enjoyed putting my vehicles together. I got the retro awestriker last week it's the same as this. Just pop the wheels gun and antenna. I was bummed out.
Gas cans go on the black pegs on the back, if you bend Chiefs legs at the bottom 3 notches and tilt the feet up all the way he will fit in all the way

So you have to adjust the figure a little bit to fit in but the pilot and marine fit perfectly in the seats. I got mine at target but I found them In the hot wheels row along with dragon ball z stuff and stuff like that
Yep, the human figures fit well. That darn Master Chief, he's just too big. lol. Weird spot to find them in.

I just got the Mantis Walker. I am also thrilled that the 4 inch Halo, Fortnight, and GI Joe figures are comparable and Compatible.

I just hate the lazy same backs on all of the lines boxes . This is definitely one of the better vehicles I've seen though and it's very detailed as of the rest of the figures the pilot his beard is just totally not even done right it looks like it's an error on all of them where half his beard is shaved absolutely no QC on these lol
Yeah, not really sure what is going on with the backs of the 4" figure boxes. It is a huge missed opportunity for a cross sale. Maybe it wasn't ready when it went to printers or something.... The 6" figures have a good box back.
The jerry cans fit on the rack side by side on the back.🤫 The hooks in front are tusks, just like a real warthog. They act as a bumper. 🤫
Waiting for them to make the Halo Pelican carrying troops space craft. I prefer 3.75 line because of vehicles.
Agreed. Vehicles are a big draw to this line for me.

Great review! Keep them coming! I especially like the comparison with GI Joe figures, as most of my collection is GI Joe. I recently bought the Warthog since GI Joe hasn't released a new vehicle in years. Question: is this Warthog better than the Jada Warthog (for 4" figures? Do you have that one? Is so, can you do a comparison, also with GI Joe figures so we can see the difference?). Thank you.

MacDowin - I think Halo 4 on 360 was last time I played ( as retro gamer my cut off is PS2 / 360) .. Halo 2 is the Empire Strikes back in the Halo series .. replaying Halo 2 it’s still holds up and is the edition that cemented Halo as an icon vs just another game
I am thinking real hard about getting the Master Chief Collection on steam. 😀
@@MacDowin I hope you do buddy. I total understand the "practical" aspect / "troop carrying aspect" ... I think Halo is one of those "faultline" franchises meaning between age groups.. OLDER guys like me (GenX) and Millenials ...my bro is 9 years younger so while we BOTH enjoyed and love the Halo franchise ..its a slightly different perspective

Just picked this up at Target for $20… normally I stick with 6in figures but I was bored and couldn't find anything I wanted so I got this. I am really impressed. I might have to pickup some more of these 4in figures and make a Diorama
