MONKE No but for real post C-Rift Taurian Mauler might be one of the best follow ups I've seen in awhile. Also that interaction with hidden blade was 🔥🔥🔥. Also that Omo deck full of ripple foils is 🥵🥵🥵.
nice gameplay - I was looking at the gev deck - personally would slot in these few(ish) cards: Vanquishers Banner, Heralds Horn, Phyrexian Arena, Descent into Avernus, Anduriel Flame of the West, Nested Shambler, Krenko TSK, Theater of Horrors, Loyal Apprentice, Siege-Gang Lt. Cryptolith Fragment and Overclocked Electromancer. Dont sleep on token decks for this guy. Multiple free 4/4s per turn.
Didn’t gev have an infinite combo that should’ve won in the game. there was the lizard that produced two mono when entering, and that’s the exact same cost of the enchantment. could you not have infinitely looped the lizard? wouldn’t gev kill all the other players? Please explain if I’m being stupid.
That's enough for one cast pf Chthonian Nightmare but not the 2 that's needed. Additionally, Gev's ping triggers on cast, not ETB. There was no Blood Artist effect in play so Gev couldn't win there.
Am I tripping or are they playing Gev wrong. Like not the deck itself but I think they misread a part of the card. Gev, Scaled Scorch: Other creatures enter with a +1/+1 counter on them FOR EACH OPPONENT who lost life this turn. Meaning the max the counters could go up to (in a 4 player match) is 3. And whenever he attacked one person and summoned a creature he put 3 counters instead of just one. I might be totally misunderstanding something so don't yell at me lol. Okay i watched a little bit more and realized Gev's second ability but even with that i dont see why the first Lizard he played (for the gev second ability) would also get Gev's first ability
