Make the scorpions Nick. You'll have a lot of fun with the project as you get creative with the tails. Another consideration is possibly using a flying stand to add height, or make them phase through a terrain piece.
Maybe turn the scorpion into a wraith lord. Use one of your old wraith and place its torso on the end of the scorpion tail. Paint I gold and Bing bang boom you got an interesting unit
I did the tomb stalker/sentinel conversion with a set of mine and i really want to make the scorpions. I rarely get to use the stalker, but i know i would use the scorpions. My suggestion, make the scorpions
There's a great 3d print file for scorpion wraiths on cults. Not sure if that's up you're alley but I've been considering it, especially with wraith prices lol.
@@IDICBeer you can use 3d modelling tools to make some cool stuff. But I found a bit of a learning curve. And I am not the most creative guy in the room . But found some great terrain to print
I built my Tomb Stalker and my Tomb Sentinal from Wraith and I followed SuperWargamer's instructions. It's actually quite simple, but it doesn't work without greenstuff, otherwise the model has a lot of gaps. I built my spiders exactly like your model in this Video. However, I used the Drukhari Talos tail.
That is a good idea. I made a tomb sentinel out of 3 wraiths by looking at the forgeworld model. It has a magnetised tail and custom base which it is climbing over a rock about the height of a marine. It suffered from new model syndrome first game an got destroyed 2nd turn by a Leman Russ but oh well it still is a unique table feature.
well me go with evil PLAIN A and do the rath the scopens look cool to you just do two others and ues em as what you need but thats me to bad you cant put a moder and have an RC scopen now that be realy cool or a mini me drone in one and have flying one seen a SPM flying tank yes that guy your dad do that but will see what you do have fun doing it PS seen model train scail car & tucks to RC cars well you cant balave
Do the crypteck riding the scorpion that will look so cool and you won’t get called out for “ modeling for advantage” like you might if you make it a wrath

I remember making these scorpions for my Necron army. Was real good fun making them. I ran 6 of them in my army. Really enjoyed them :)

As far as the technomancer conversion, I would do it, and I may myself. I have the old fine cast illuminor I may do that with.

I like the scorpion idea . I got 2 stalkers but i only use them in canoptic court and even then only in friendly games
