I don't know much tbh but ig if you are doing Baglamukhi mata jaap it's preferred to have yellow colour mala since Baglamukhi mata likes yellow colour. And for other gods ig any colour is okay. Specially for Shiv he didn't set any restrictions while praying to him and its better to use Rudraksha mala while chanting Om namah shivay or any other mantra related to him. But always consult astrologers before doing anything bro. Mantras are so powerful the fast they help you, that fast they can hurt you too if chanted wrong.

@@jayanthj9155 i guess. I am not sure consult an astrologer or a pandit in your nearby mandir. I do jaap of om namah shivay and maha mrityunjay mantra while doing havan only on monday for now. So since I never tried doing the jaap with mala i was suggested to use flowers.

I don't think so there's anything like you have to do 16 rounds. You can either say the mantra 9 or 108 or 1008 times as of what i know
