Weirdest combo ever. A fully modded s13 wuth drift-style wrap AND a dct. Mad respect for the owner!
The dct is a real game changer, maximizing the true performance potential of the good old 1jz, this would absolutely demolish alot of modern day sports cars with that brutal acceleration.

Nice car! My mate has a 180 but with a forged RB26 gtr engine, the block sits a bit higher so the bonnet needed to be chopped and a scoop put on to cater to the size.
Them: you can't beat the final boss of Need For Speed Most Wanted with just the 240SX

On my 3rd 1jz car now, and yes, best sounding for sure this side of v10's, v12's and other unobtainium engines, and bomb proof reliability to go with the performance too thanks for sharing with us!

@@lithshop yea from what I understand, most dct are locked up by manufacturers, that’s why we don’t see any aftermarket for the internals. More ppl doing swaps like this, they’ll eventually offer support

it seems to be stuck in upshift preselect, hence the delayed downshifts. Are you feeding/simulating messages from the ABS? It needs brake pressure, pedal delta and neg wheel torque to predict downshifts and do the downshift preselect.

Sounds like an RB 25/26 , which means its better sounding then most 2JZ. There is something special about the 2.5/2.6 engine but they sound the best

I wonder about how cars like this pass the emission test ? If i buy something, put enormous turbo in it. How its going with emissions, because it cant fit in the factory limits. You have different maps ? Or what ?

The car is also very tiny due to the cage hahah
just wondering about this cage how the bars bend near the knees. Wouldn't this design roll cage easily crumple at this point if the car crashed and rolled? It does not look safe and most other full roll cages go through the dash and not bend near the knees. Also above the head, that straight across bar is not welded in but it is bolted in! How can this roll cage be safe under impact??? Can someone enlighten me about this?
Your observations are right. This is mostly just for looks and it would probably just easily bend away at the dashboard. But still, its probably a bit more safe than stock since the stock chassis has a rigidity of a wet paper towel
You are right! I didnt want to cut my dash because they are becoming really expensive. And i wasnt sure if i wanted to keep the cage forever haha. But it's safer than no cage at all😅
