hI you would be doing yourself a big favor to do just a couple of simplle tips. Make paper pattern 2- stay in one area then move to the next. Most cars that are rusted you'll chase the rust everywhere 3- cover your glass sparks from welding do sometimes stick and can ruin the glass. 4- make your panels and fit them before welding and do not make little strips like on the upper rear wing your chance of warping and distorting it greater when you do little buts here and there. You're doing pretty good for using a claw hammer and vice grips. Its not the tools its the user ! Dont ever give up you'll get it ! Do your repairs one bit at a time and you'll get it done ! Keep on keepin on !
Hey thanks for comment, I've been using cardboard templates for everything tbh, I just moved to a few different areas as I couldn't progress with other ones at the time, I've other panel hammers there that I use for it but the good old claw hammer came in at the end, I appreciate you're comments and thanks for watching
Love doing this kind of work. Attack it and figure it out as you go, backed with some skill and grit. Doing the same on my '67 MGB right now! Looking forward to the next videos.
