I actually did this a few weeks ago! I put the ordinary glycolic acid on my scalp and left it there for a few hours before shampooing. It cleared my scalp and my dandruff is gone 👌🏾

I tried this and OMG my dead skin on my scalp is coming off and my hair is FLAWLESS! So SOFT, hydrated and best part is LESS hair loss!! Makes it so much easier to detangle after washing hair with the lubricant feel to it. My scalp has never felt so clean. I have very hard water here in FLORIDA so this is very helpful. These were my steps:
Glycolic acid for 30 minutes (entire scalp)
Clarifying shampoo followed by moisturizing shampoo,
Condition ends (wash off with cold water)
    And wallah!!!!! TRUST THIS!

This is cool. On wet hair it is hard to overscrub a sugar scrub. Sugar melts in warm water. Pretty much impossible to overdo.

Yes!!! Months ago I decided to use a TCA peel on my edges. I suffered a little discoloration because I left it on too long with the thought that the skin on the scalp is thicker. I recommended it to a friend with the explanation that scalp is skin and has dead skin build-up similar to the face. Since the peel, I’ve noticed new hair growth in an area that has been barren for a while. Good video! Great mind obviously think alike.

I used Clean & Clear which has salicylic acid in and it worked far better than any scalp solution which is suppose to exfoliate the scalp. I followed that after 10 minutes with roots sensitive shampoo and the Ordinary conditioner. n added benefit is the hair looks brighter. I did water down the Clean & Clear with water and put it into a bottle 9the kind used for flushing the ear out, This worked out so well because it las a long tube with a nozzle and it makes it easy to target the scalp. I have used shampoos with salicylic acid acid in but they dry out my hair..

I started using a chemical exfoliant pre-shampoo a couple of months ago. I use the Papaya Castor Scalp Serum from Eden Bodyworks which exfoliates with the papaya extract (and maybe other exfoliants? Not sure). The whole Papaya Castor line is intended for scalp care. I haven't used anything else from the line, but worth taking a look.
I do have a concern using chemical exfoliant--should I start using sun protection on my hair and scalp?

It's just to say you don't have to do a whole bunch of complicated stuff including use chemical exfoilants (that could potentially burn your scalp just like your face...and you might not be able to see the burn) when shampoo IS enough. Additionally, the concept of the video is ALSO suggesting people have build-up that needs to be removed... so is the beautiful woman making the video also calling people dirty?
You may have to wash more frequently and with a stronger shampoo but people are learning better hair practices everyday.

I heard that clove water by itself could be drying, therefore possibly leading to breakage and not retaining lentgh leading to the appearance of your hair not growing. The hair is always growing. The only way it won't grow is if one has dead or scarred follicles.

this is helpful my scalp has alot of oil like scabs. mostly started when i had too much anti biotics so it messes up how my skin handles oils. i do have some that came off so slight burn but over all nice. im not too bothered by the burn because its needed and for start im just leaving it on before showering then light after with oils i have used a apple cider vinegar wash. i have straight wavy hair but oil and light like afro hair so my hair and scalp tends to be the same. just using and lightly rubbing alot came off easy and my scalp doesn't feel as tight it will take my scalp 3 days till i know if its going well but this seems to be what i needed so thank you. And im only using this as a man with long hair because i do give off so much oils that it is needed. i get the hard oil to bumps not all the time but enough were i needed something strong enough i already use this on my skin about 2 times a week now 1 or every other week so im hopping my scalp can heal the same. and this does work well tonning out my scars on my face so hope it can help. i am self diagnosed with early lupus i follow a diet no meds, healed my self when Drs could not. i really hope it works i used to have the thickest hair and would love to get it back. thank you for this video and being precise with the 2 sides of scalps this is needed for. Note i am Mexican and indigenous American with my hair poofy yet life black peoples hair and scalp though not nearly as curly. it does curl when not dry and can be shaped how i choose from curly to straight i might have black Dna but that history is lost or to vague to know. though i am asked if i am from black to Pacific islander. over all i am hoping this works. so Yes the best results for advice i get is from blacks and Asians that face the same or similar issues. This is a massive struggle of mine so thank you. Hard to get this kind of advice having moved from Compton CA

Try daily rosemary oil massage for thinning hair. Look up some vids on it, i believe it has been proven in a study to help with regular use.

It depends on how thick your hair is. i would suggest trying small amount first and it is cheap so it is worth a try. If it doesn't work for your hair, i suggest olaplex no. 6 because i have never seen a single person of any hair type that doesn't like that product 💖

      HAIR LOSS
Hair loss in males and females are usually from High Testosterone that convert to DHT in the natural oils on scalp and skin, hence hair loss on scalp and excess hair on skin.
      Some people get acne also.
Saw Palmetto Capsules stops and reverses hair thinning and acne on many people, both male and female.
Also try following a Low Carb Moderate Fats to reduce Testosterone levels.
20 to 30 carbs total per day, for at least 30 days, usually gives excellent results.
Ketogenic diet also helps with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and Metabolic Syndrome issues also.
      Hope this helps someone.

I wouldn't suggest that because there is no research to my knowledge that shows the reaction when you mix the two. It could cause a bad reaction, they could cancel each other out and both be ineffective or nothing could go wrong but i wouldn't risk it 💖

I have a question, if someone can help me. I have been using the Ordinary multi peptide hair serum, which is a leave-in serum that I put on my clean scalp (day one, day two). Can I put the glycolic acid as a exfoliant before I wash it out, or should it not be mixed? (I wash my hair every 3,4 days)

    • @saraaaa466
      @saraaaa466 2 роки тому +1

i use this hair serum, you should actually be using it every day. it's been proven that it'll still give you results even on a not so clean scalp, they just say that in directions because that's when it'll give you BEST results. of course you can exfoliate your scalp with the glycolic acid, there are no ingredients in those two that shouldn't be mixed
