It was really adorable ❤ how many artists actually acknowledge their band during a concert?? This has been the best concert I’ve ever seen!! That was an epic ending to an epic show…but we have encores coming up!! Thank you Seph for being a light in my day. What’s going on in the world has gotten me down and your reactions bring a smile to my day.
His vocals were incredible in this song. How many other performers sound that good singing live at a concert and all while doing his unreal dance moves.
The thing with saying "I don't like X song from Michael as much as everyone else" is that, every time somene says that and gets asked why, they are able to reply with "It's just that I love [insert 5 other of his songs here] much more." and the one asking has to respond with "that's fair", because no matter what other songs are mentioned, they are most certainly also bloody good. xD The man has left us with a vast amount of incredible music, not everyone can like every sing as much as everyone else. That'd be sad. Instead we get some great diversity as we all grow to love different songs. ♥ Again, thank you for taking us along on your discovery journey, it's so much fun to re-experience this all over again like this!
There is no better way to say it. I personally love the songs from Dangerous and the later albums better. But maybe I listened to the "Thriller" album and "Bad" album too often.
This reaction really puts a big smile on my face. I got an appreciation of Michael the person and not just as a phenomenal entertainer. Thanks for this, it is a must see. Seph you should check out the video 'Scream', that Michael did with Janet Jackson which lashes out against the media.
Another wonderful reaction! Beyond his talent, Michael's humanity, his spirit, his heart, his kindness, hell, his personality... it all sets him apart and puts him in a league of his own. You can just see love and kindness radiating out of him. The joy in the Bad tour I don't think is mirrored to quite this degree in any other tour, for reasons that become obvious the more and more you learn about his tragic life. It's one of the reasons the Bad era is so incredible. He is so happy, free, joyful, radiant, gorgeous. Everything he deserves to be. Because you are so touched by his human side, I *highly* recommend you add the Michael Jackson Humanitarian documentary to your list of videos to watch. It is about an hour and it covers the length of his life. However, I don't think it contains too much tour footage, so I don't *think* you'll be spoiling anything if you watch it before you get to the later eras. But it might be something to hold off for until you get through his main 90s albums, which contain even more humanitarian work. However, I think it is totally safe to watch the compilations of him visiting hospitals and orphanages. And I strongly recommend you do! They are incredibly touching videos. There are compilations from just the Bad and Dangerous eras (Dangerous is the next one coming up!). I know you have a list you are working from, but I'd like to add a few things. Perhaps they are already on your list, but just in case! I am including the approximate video length to help :) Thriller/Thrad/Captain EO era: (there's more from these earlier eras, but I mostly want to focus on Bad) 1) Michael visiting Australia for the 1985 telethon. It's about a 10 minute video and completely adorable. Bad era: 2) Michael getting the honorary doctorate from Fisk University. There was footage of this during the opening of the Wembley concert. It is wonderful and completely adorable. 5-10 minutes depending on clips you choose. 3) Michael's Ebony Jet Interview -15 minutes- & 60 Minutes Australia interviews -15 minutes- 4) Bad Tour Rehearsal compilations - 15-20 minutes. 4) The 1989 AMA Lifetime Achievement Award - there's a whole presentation of his career that is worth watching, as well as a hilarious interaction with Eddie Murphy that is so f'n funny, and lovable, it will melt your heart. 10-15 minutes 5) Soul Train Awards 1989 - GORGEOUS - 10-15 minutes. 6) Additional Bad tour performances including Yokohama, and maybe some Brisbane :) 7) Gardner Street Elementary Dedication - I have watched the full 30 minute video, but there are shorter versions, too. But this is when Michael's elementary school named the Auditorium in his honor. He was very moved by it. There is SO much more I can add, but I do know you have a list you're working with. Also I just want to thank you again. It is so exciting to see a reactor actually go through the full MJ journey and to legitimately show care and appreciation for not only his talent but how remarkable he was as a person.
Amazing reaction seph I really respect how smart you are when you said he is like a child that is actually true he is was like child because he never had a childhood and that's why the corrupted world used that against him they never understand the purness in him greedy and jealousy won because they led him to the addiction of painkillers so he can pair what world done to him which led to his death eventually !
It's ok Seph! I also like some of his other songs better, but he doesn't have a bad song haha 😂 everyone who knew him said Michael was very humble ❤ he seemed so fun to be around!
"not one of my favourite MJ songs" I agree, but that's mostly because he's got so many top-tier classics. A 'bad' (heh) MJ song is still far better than what most other pop stars have. :)
I unfortunately can't do any songs from them because of copyright issues. The company who owns all their songs have threatened to sue me for copyright infringement "Rather scary receiving a letter through the post from a multimillion dollar company like that" 😭
Seph i will now explain you how the concert works from now on. I know "Bad" looked like the ending but its not. The next song is actually the last one of this concert BUT there's still another one after that which is "The Way You Make Me Feel". The concert is not 2 hours and 15 minutes long. Now you will tell me "but if the next song is the last of the concert, how is it possible that there is still another one after that?" Well, the performance of "The Way You Make Me Feel" is actually from the July 15 concert at Wembley, the day before this concert. During the Bad Tour, the song was performed in between "Bad" and the last song (I wont tell you the name although you're probably guessing what song it is haha) but it was taken out the July 16 concert because Michael had met Princess Diana and Prince Charles who had arrived late before the start of the concert and the show had been delayed and there was no more time to do it. After "The Way You Make Me Feel" there are two performances of the Bad Tour concert in Yokohama, Japan 1987, "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" and "Bad" but you can skip them since you've already watched them in this concert (i dont know why they included them here). So the TWYMMF performance is the last one you need to watch🔥
