What a top notch presentation of an all-American classic in safety razors. Rockwell is great. I have the 6S because I love stainless steel razors best. And it’s among my personal Top 3 razors of all time. I use base plate 4 most of the time. The 6S is a keeper, for a lifetime. It’s worth more than its price tag.
Ha. Saving money is a misnomer! When I used cartridges all I used was one razor, the cartidge, can of foam and cheap aftershave.I got into the wet shaving hobby 7 years ago and have RAD razor addiction or acquisition disorder at over 45 razors, tons of brushes, bowles, creams, balms, about 20 brands of blades, pre shave oils etc. I am not saving money but spending way more than I did on cartidges. Expensive hobby! Most gents don't stop at a few razors and accessories lol
I was debating on the Rockwell and Henson and went with the Rockwell 6s. I had own a cheap butterfly razor and staying away any butterfly razors especially the R1
I have had two t2 razors and they were both horrible. Lots of cuts, burn all the bad stuff. I bought one, terrible, the merchant exchanged it and the second one was almost as bad. The blade alignment was off. Called Rockwell no help at all. I do have a a c6 and it is a great razor
