- As promised, here's my coverage of Suzuki Gixxer SP edition despite horrible weather here in Hyderabad. I also do a quick comparison between the Suzuki Gixxer vs Yamaha FZ-S Version 2.0 vs Honda Hornet 160R.
I share how to setup and use the rpm limiter/rpm light indicator.
I share what's new that we get with the SP edition.
I share the price differences among various Gixxer variants.
I talk about its various specs like engine capacity, power, torque, ground clearance, wheelbase, etc.

When riding single, it won't be an issue. With a heavy pillion the bike may scrap a little.

Gixxer is a good pick overall. but when buying preowned, it depends upon the current condition of bike. I personally think that 17k running for a year is a bit more for the asking price.

Good review... I am the first owner of Gixxer in my city and since two years no complaints and such a good bike both city and highways.... I use to go normally 60 to 70 in city and I get 42 kmpl regularly.....

I was researching about various 150-160cc bikes from past couple of months. I was really looking forward to hornet but after knowing about chain problems and srrvice cost I am going for gixxer 😊
I m having girder sf rear disc version, the bike is absolute stunning machine, getting mileage of 47kmpl in mixed riding conditions and I m happy with my bike

You never miss out on mesmerizing us with your videos sir. Great video! Suzuki is really stepping up their game and the sales will soon show. Besides this I have an doubt, in the 150cc to 180cc premium segment why isn't the RTR 180 taken into consideration by reviewers. I know it's the oldest of the lost and has vibes but looks brutal, sounds and accelrate's like a savage. Just a small question that keeps persisting in my mind.................................
Thank you for your kind words bro. I agree RTR 180 is a sweet little monster with unexpected performance and the safety net of ABS. It's only that it falls in 180 cc segment. Price wise it might be in the same range as some of the 150s or 160s, but still comparos are done segment wise. Hope you checked out my RTR 180 ABS Matte Blue edition video with ABS demo.

Is the cb hornet 160r cbs very heavy than the gixxer. Can we feel the 7kgs difference? Please help me, I am confused between the hornet and gixxer because people tell that hornet is a heavy machine. hey dino , I wanted to modify my gixxer special edition to gixxer sf special edition u can say its an transformation from a naked gixxer to a bulky gixxer , as both the bikes have same configuration as well as same looks from back . suggest me whether this transformation is possible or not?

Do you think for a beginner and an urban commuter, 5"9 , is this bike good?
Very difficult to choose between pillion comfort ,ground clearance , handling and low end performance.
Mostly favoring hornet for its exceptional design , ground clearance and pillion comfort except that low end performance is not good enough for city traffic
But the build quality of hornet feels pathetic,headlight brightness is toooooo low,stiffer suspension is really bad even at small gutters you will feel each and every gutters,gearbox feels clunky......i'm a hornet owner since jan 2017

yes gixxer was phenominal especially because of milege compared to related bikes as hornet and fz .... Thanks dino your review was very Good and help us before buying new bike ......

Hey Dino, Thanks for bringing us out of confusion every time. However could you please suggest a headlight bulb for gixxer. The current light beam is kind of dead in city. Anything which has good beam, doesn't make other blind and under acceptable norms of traffic cops.
