I have seen La Roux many times live and most of them as part of an ensemble or as a guest artist. She always dominated the stage and has by far the strongest voice. I think the only reason she is not massively famous is that she is such a low-key person because for sure she has the star quality and the talent.

Aside from the lyrics, the only similarity between the tracks is that they’re both funky as hell! Such a wonderful tribute, right down to the baseball bat and microwave.
