- It's a Christmas tradition to chop down a tree and decorate it in your living room. Jamie and I decided to cut out the middle man, wander into the forest, and decorate one right there instead.

I’ve had a similar idea but not for ones in the forest necessarily. I’ve wondered why don’t we as a society start to decorate small potted Xmas trees 🌲 instead of chopping them down and letting them die, for the sake of our Xmas traditions? We should have them remain in a pot, water them, decorate them and replant them !

Thanks! We used battery powered lights, so we just needed a couple of AA batteries to light them
the sky wasn't even black all day on christmas? as a swede who regularly gets about 2 months of no sun in the winter that just looks weird
We get a decent bit of light here in the UK around Christmas. I couldn't imagine it being dark all the way through! Does that impact your celebrations?
@@AndrewMadeAFilm no not really. Where i live we don't have an actual hockey rink but in the winter we have one temporarily. The darkness doesn't even make that harder
