WOW! Un-believable... The Stamford i remember as a little boy! We are about the same age, I was born in 66 at Woodside Village. Brucie is a friend for years from SPD. Thanks!

I was the paperboy 64-65 starting at Pellici's up to West Ave and all the side roads in between.....the smells! Sauce cooking....baking bread....a neighborhood where something ALWAYS was cooking.

I grew up in Stamford and seeing these vids shows how great Stamford used to be! My aunt used to live in Merrell ave and I worked in Bongiorno Pharmacy in the summer. Love the vds. Keep them coming :)

This is awesome, i lived at ( Vidal Court 74 Merrell Ave ) from 1978 to 2001
that footage brought a tear to my eye. I remember from the late 70's to late 80's was the greatest times at Merrell Ave.

Watching this video makes me want a slice of Cipri's pizza. Brings back a lot of memories. Boys club, hubbard heights, building forts in the woods near westover etc. Thanks for the upload.

I'm from Stamford, some of the names looked familiar. I lived on Pressprich St, Greenwich Ave, Magee Ave, and Ursula Place, went to Steven's school and Ryle, then we moved to near Cove Road and I went to St. Mary's . High School was Catholic High and Stamford High. Thanks for sharing. I knew a girl named Wanda who lived on Connecticut Ave in the projects there, and the Nimeras, Diaz, Morrels, the Ingarans,

I enjoyed those memories . People never knew how to act when the camera was on them.I had to 2 400 foot reels I spliced together, but lost them in a bad flood, terrible loss. But I still have regular photographs. I see you have many memories😊😊

Superb! Great transfer to UA-cam, and the colors are wonderful! Music choice is top notch! All I have is a white wall and projector sounds. :-(
