Kind of a miss opportunity to create a Moose Lps like they did a couple years ago but in a G3 style, it would've also been cool to see an arctic fox in there to honestly with fluffy scarfs. but I do honestly not bad...? I don't really think it's worth it in my opinion though.

I LOVE these pets. The crouching cat is extremely bug eyed, but I suppose she’s still cute 😂
I kinda like that about her, because she just looks a little clueless and ditzy and I think that’s cute 😂
I got mine less than two weeks ago, and all of my lps and accessories were in perfect condition with little to no quality issues.

I just wish it came with three marshmallow sticks to go with the campfire instead of two, but that's my only nitpick.

It's 24.99 euro (essentially 25 euros) in our smyths in Ireland so..wow $50 is a big surprise

@@astorria oh sure, it was when i was visiting the one in Claremorris, and i saw it in smyths in there, i didn't grab it myself cause i was looking for farm besties. They had one (i think a few i didn't really look at it when i should have lol) there along with other pet stuff
I hope it'll be the same price here in Portugal , I wouldn't buy it for 50 since I only like a few of the pets
AUSdollar has always been half the value of euros, so doubling the european price is just a given 😭 everything’s expensive over here

I also got the better version of the pets, I live in the states and it was around $30 USD. I am waiting for December to open them but it's really exciting seeing them bring these calendars back !!
I absolutely love all of the deer! Some of mine did come in bad quality, the worst being a deer with missing paint on the eye. It makes me a little worried about buying lps online.
Finally there's a official G7 LPS christmas calender aside the the one with AI generated box art and bootleg LPS in it
I was so worried about the quality of theses but now I know that it'll be worth the money. I only want the deer and cat out of it and plan to give the rest of the pets/accessories to my little cousin. Okay, now I need this advent calendar this year.
I’m glad yours came out so well.
I got an ES box as well, but had a handful of printing issues on mine.
Two deer have dark brown or pink marks on the legs and back of the heads, the dog has smeared purple running from the patches on the body and neck.
There is missing ink on the ears of the dog as well.
The panda has random orange specks on it for some reason and a random blue bit of plastic on the chest.
In the uk , the 5 pack is £18 ,
So to have the advent calendar with 8 pets
I’m glad Smyths toys sells it for £20 s very good , I might even get two
4 blind boxes here are 9 dollars each and come up to 36 dollars for 4 little boxes, wish it was less honestly :(
I don't think I'll even get it since 1) i'm almost 18 and even tho I am super happy my childhood toys are back, I'm pretty sure no one wants to gift it to me and 2) we didn't even get the season 2 lps single boxes here in Portugal yet (at least I've seen in toy shops and shopping centres each time my parents go grocery shopping and only see season 1 each time), much more the calendar.
I feel this, I'm a 19 going on 20 year old guy and feel like I can't tell anyone that I still collect LPS let alone expect to get them as a gift from others
I’m also in Australia I spotted the lps calendar at target! Was gonna get it but not sure it’s worth it and I agree they should’ve hidden the pets of what’s inside be way more exciting then just know what’s in it already

In the USA, when I preordered it around August 15th, I paid $29.99 (with free shipping because I have Amazon prime) Definitely a bit cheaper for the USA.
I bought the advent calendar for myself for Christmas and wanted a better look at the contents of it so thanks for posting this. Great in-depth review of the pets and accessories. (Also, I'm in the US and paid $30 for it)

Well I finally found new lps in online stores in my country... they are overpriced, like I'm not kidding... they cost SO MUCH. I thought these ones should be cheaper... but nope, they are so hella expensive...
The LPS Calendar is currently not available in our german Smyth's toys, but it will be in October. It's 40€ here.
im from the uk n got it from smyths toys n it was £20 which was a shock cus i expected it would b more... all the pets where good quality n im very happy with it!!
I believe that the collector card you get is diff on each calendar, cuz I just opened mine today and I got the crouching cats card 😊❤
I got this beautiful set from Mr Toys Toyworld last week and I’m also super happy with it! All the pets are in great condition, but yeah I’m definitely a tiny bit disappointed with the cat and dog’s eyes. The cat’s eyes are ridiculously huge and the dog’s eyes look too wonky to me, but still happy regardless 😊
I got scammed.
And now I probably won't be able to get the real one. 😢

I’m not too happy with all the g7 pets to be honest 😭 I’m so so so grateful they brought back the g2 designs but I’ve noticed some bad printing and bad paint job on ALOT of mine and other peoples pets they have got. And they often look different to how the were advertised.

Honestly, as someone who had the original sparkle dalmatian the advent calendar dalmatian is based on... I just feel awkward looking at it LOL. I usually don't mind lps being a lil derpy, but I just can't handle it on this one 😭 I plan on customizing mine once I've opened it up though, so it'll get plenty of love :]
(I do wish we got fabric scarves instead of more plastic ones since it drives me nuts they only fit on certain pets, but... better than cardboard I guess LMAO)

I'm from Australia as well and did the amazon pre-order, plus express shipping. The bear has massive green paint streaks on his legs, and the deer with the star on the chest is missing a line of paint on it's head, absolutely painful to see. I'm currently purchasing another one from Target. I'm hoping they're not in such bad quality.

I’m thinking they’ll probably do Halloween pets next year! They still seem to be finding what works and what doesn’t, alongside figuring out what people like and don’t like. They probably need to get more used to doing LPS before introducing more seasonal ones, it’s kinda like how they didn’t do any Easter pets!

I'd say its deffiently worth it where i live, its around 40€ compared to the bigger lps gen 7 sets that are 30€ yet have way less accessories and pets. Plus you get one lps or accessory each day! Thats amazing

also the calendar has popped up on Walmart's website, they have been really slow getting the new Lps in so I'm not 100% sure if it is in the actual store so I'm probably just going to order it with my grandma especially since holiday shopping is always chaotic

When I got mine, the only missprint I got was the panda's left eye. It was slightly off and shifted inwards. I dont remember exactly what I paid, but it was close to $30-$40 USD. All of my pets in the calendar have Squishy Head Syndrome😢 a little disappointing, but I'm still happy I was able to get the set.
I have no idea what number the set was. I didn't know that set numbers even mattered until I watched this video😅

I actually have the sparkle Dalmatian and I think she would like to see her long lost twin. Also Honey is correct about how the puppies eyes can be derby, their vision takes a while to adjust and get strong enough they can see things in front of them even though dogs IRL are color blind. I've been having a hard time getting the panda cause for some reason Basic Fun is changing up the codes on the bottom, my recent hunt for the blind box I only got two out of the three boxes I got are different, I was lucky to get the axolotl along with the terrier which has part of his left eye pealing a little but it's not a bother to me. I'm not up to hunting down another one to get a better printed one with Basic Fun changing the codes

The only reason why I would probably buy the savant calendar for 30 bucks off Amazon is for the bear. I was considering making my mascot be a bear, but I really like my cat mascot.

In my experience the “KX” LPS are better quality. I’m not sure why but the “ES” always seem to have squishier heads and more grainy paint.
It might just be me but the pink deer also looks like the head and body are different shades
i have them and LOVE THEM! i just got into collecting though
the thing is i don’t care about quality so…
I really appreciate basic fun for making the lps more affordable but.. they’re a bit to cheap. At least make sure the makings are printed right. 😭 Especially for big sets like this! Cuz if 1 of those pets are messed up, then that’s probably the only one you’ll get. (Especially children getting this from they’re parents)
