My heart dropped when you decided to talk to the Hardie boys before inspecting the body. I see now, at the end of the video, that the game gives you an objective to be more thorough, whew! TBH it has been a couple years since I played this, so I do not remember all of the main plot. In fact there are other doors I am worried about closing on Harry, but I will hint nothing, to see how it plays out. Luk it could be that you would not have found the bullet if you were wearing a glove. Do not know if that is represented in the game tho The RCM does have full legal authority, it's just that many people in the occupied territories do not respect it, because of how weak it is. And how it's not fair to police a broken society the same way as a fully functioning one. Like in the US, the widespread passing of laws making being homeless illegal. Yet not actually addressing the causes of homelessness. I know you understood all that, but the RCM does have power of consequence. IMHO. Bravo. :)

Fun fact, if you fail the dead man check you can still suggest to Kim to keep the body around for a bit to retry the check later (as it’s the white check) and if you do it the game gives you the funniest way ever to stop the body from decomposing further (just in case you consider it a spoiler I won’t write how it’s done, unless you comment that you want to know)

By the way you can also forget some finished thoughts from the active thought cabinet, which don't seem necessary for your playthrough. Be careful though as many of them will open more dialogue options and will cost skill points to forget and research again. Looking at the list you've collected a lot of important ones, but Lonesome long way home and Rigorous self-critique block other new thoughts from appearing as Harry is too occupied pining for his home and being critical of every choice he makes. Up to you if you want to forget them. Thoughts like Ace's high and Ace's low will open more dialogue and rapport with Kim.
Maybe you have some thought that affects your rolls. There are some that increases chance to roll higher with lower chances and to roll worse with higher.

Shooting that body down must've felt great. It's one of the most satisfying rolls to pass in the game.
Followed by finding the bullet. That sequence is amazing, and probably something that both the player and Harry need at this point.
