Would be way too easy. Using directional keys to shuffle guys around franticly and having to deal with the fact that you move through one unit to get to the next is the fun!
@@arcaears trueee!! Like, just look at the people that play games like "Osu" The mouse gives too much freedom, a lot of the "fun" on many of these "old" games was the controls being hard. If old games like Castlevania used all of the technology that was available, thrn they would have not been the same games we now know and love. But sure, if it ever were to be made into a thing, i won't complain. I'll simply keep playing in my own way hahaha!

I wonder if that’s because on the screen where it tells you that it shows 4 guys in a row. Took me about an hour to realize what I was doing wrong.

Putting men shoulder to shoulder forms a phalanx and that's what the game was suggesting, it even has the backline function of the spearmen.
