You should wait for him to do the move where he swings twice powerfully, he always does a stomp before it, so run away until he does the stomp 2 swings and most likely hes going to go for another 2swings thats when you step in and the first of the 2 swings is really easy to parry just look at the sword and as it starts coming parry, Carian retaliation has the most parry frames so its worth to grab that AoW and put it on your parry shield, otherwise you can put quickstep on a dagger and use it to dodge other attacks like the running swing and get behind to backstab, Goodluck soldier o7
Are you leveling the shield? For some odd reason it looks like ill parry but he just goes through it.
